What customers say
Great location near Newquay/Perranporth. Staff are friendly, pool's a hit with families. Pitches are spacious. Downsides: toilet/shower facilities can be small, insufficient when busy, and sometimes dirty with pooled water. Arcade/shop not always open.

Liked Second field nice and quiet. Large pitches and can choose your own.
Disliked Toilets - expected a proper shower block not 'permanent' portaloos. Queue for them in morning!

Great stay
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The campsite was very nice with great views, the showers were cleaned at least twice a day, it was also very easy to pitch up as you could pick what pitch you wanted, this was great as we came with other family members so managed to get together. Entertainment for the kiddies was fun. We had a great time.
Disliked Only slight downside was they didnt serve food every evening so you had to pick the nights we ate there, but it certainly didn't spoil anything for us.

Liked Loved this site. The pool was great for a family of 6, you have to book your free 1 hour slot at reception which we liked. Pitches were great. Not far from amenities. Quiet enough despite lots of families there. Everyone abided by the camp rules of quiet after certain times.
Club house, laundrette there. Great play area for kids. Lovely restaurant. Staff were lovely. Showers and toilet cubicles.
Not far about 10 minutes to Perranporth. Around 12 minutes to Newquay town, which has larger supermarkets.
We will definitely be back in the future.
Disliked Only thing that could be improved is more toilets and showers for both camping fields as only one field had to supply for both fields.
The pool was great, but is a standard depth throughout the pool, 1.2 metres throughout, so would recommend little ones to have swim vests on. The pool is also unmanned by life guards. For us not an issue, but for others may be.
No shop on site. Could do with a little shop with everyday things ie: bread and milk etc. But not a huge issue.

Liked Large pitches and flat ground. Toilets and showers were good although no other facilities like communal fridge / freezer. Pool was great and never had issues with booking on to it.
Disliked One of the toilet floors was always soaked and toilet kept getting blocked. No other facilities.

Liked Cracking little park good location lovey swimming pool good food and lovey staff
Extreme value for money
Disliked The camping toilets just something wasn’t right. I don’t know if it’s because it was busy but always just seemed very wet and dirty. I personally think a block would be better.

Lovely venue, needs a little upgrade in places.
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked We were in camp area 2, great spot. Huge pitches. Lovely area. Very clean. Ideal area to travel to Newquay, Perranporth, St Agnes.
Disliked Only 1 block of toilets and 3 showers for the amount of campers. Really needs to be an extra block in second field. Quiet time is from 10pm, but sadly halfway through our holiday we had rude neighbours who didnt want to respect others or children. Security were called when a family were allowing their child to drive their car around the pitch in dusk no lights putting children and lives at risk. Security walked round but did nothing. Also you are allowed to have gazebos & awnings here, so long as it fits in your pitch.
The venue has huge potential to be developed & upgraded.

Apart from that it’s a lovely place to stay.

Liked Campsite was lovely. Very clean and looked after. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely go back again for sure. Lovely dog walking area.
Disliked Only issue I would say is the showers. The hot water doesn’t last very long but I know they are getting new ones next year so to be honest it’s that big a deal. I would say that when it comes to ordering food on a busy night they chef can’t cope and shuts the kitchen down until he’s caught up. But saying that we went up to order and was told to go bk up in 15minutes as they aren’t taking any more orders till then. But when going back up they told me I would have to wait 30minutes to order as the kitchen is very busy and that’s because in that 15minutes they took food orders. I did complain as I had young children to feed and they allowed me to order. I would say the kitchen needs more help.

Beautiful surroundings.…
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Beautiful surroundings.
Disliked The biggest downside is the lack of toilets and showers. There are only two sinks for washing dishes, so there are always long queues, especially in the mornings and evenings. We had to wait up to 30 minutes at times. The shower/toilet cubicles were often flooded with water and covered in straw, making them unpleasant to use. Toilet paper was also frequently unavailable. The facilities are simply not sufficient for the number of guests.
