What customers say
Spacious, flat pitches & friendly vibe. Staff are great value! Pool's a family hit. Downsides: toilets/showers often few & not super clean, especially when busy. Good location but some found entertainment lacking.

Toilets and showers let it down
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Great views, enjoyed the club house and use of the pool. Easy to find and good base for Newquay.
Disliked Toilets were vile. Floors were soaking wet. They need to invest in a proper toilet block rather than portable huts. Also there weren't enough, lots of queues. More outside water taps needed.
There are no lights from the clubhouse to the camping field making it very dangerous walking back at night.
An onsite shop would've been handy.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Lovely pitch would defiantly return again had a great time
Disliked The showers were could do with a little handle to step down and a hook next to shower to put towel when getting out as floors in toilets constantly soaking the laundrette could be open till 8pm but otherwise great

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Quiet family site, good size pickable pitch, lovely pool and park for kids.
Kids entertainment was half an hour but my kids loved it (6&7&9 )
Disliked The toilets were cleaned regularly but given how empty the field was we often queued for the loo and once they were wet on the floor it gathered grass so was a bit slippy /got bottoms of pjs wet so a mat would’ve have been useful and improve the experience.

Liked Second field nice and quiet. Large pitches and can choose your own.
Disliked Toilets - expected a proper shower block not 'permanent' portaloos. Queue for them in morning!

Great stay
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The campsite was very nice with great views, the showers were cleaned at least twice a day, it was also very easy to pitch up as you could pick what pitch you wanted, this was great as we came with other family members so managed to get together. Entertainment for the kiddies was fun. We had a great time.
Disliked Only slight downside was they didnt serve food every evening so you had to pick the nights we ate there, but it certainly didn't spoil anything for us.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Loved this site. The pool was great for a family of 6, you have to book your free 1 hour slot at reception which we liked. Pitches were great. Not far from amenities. Quiet enough despite lots of families there. Everyone abided by the camp rules of quiet after certain times.
Club house, laundrette there. Great play area for kids. Lovely restaurant. Staff were lovely. Showers and toilet cubicles.
Not far about 10 minutes to Perranporth. Around 12 minutes to Newquay town, which has larger supermarkets.
We will definitely be back in the future.
Disliked Only thing that could be improved is more toilets and showers for both camping fields as only one field had to supply for both fields.
The pool was great, but is a standard depth throughout the pool, 1.2 metres throughout, so would recommend little ones to have swim vests on. The pool is also unmanned by life guards. For us not an issue, but for others may be.
No shop on site. Could do with a little shop with everyday things ie: bread and milk etc. But not a huge issue.

Liked Large pitches and flat ground. Toilets and showers were good although no other facilities like communal fridge / freezer. Pool was great and never had issues with booking on to it.
Disliked One of the toilet floors was always soaked and toilet kept getting blocked. No other facilities.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Cracking little park good location lovey swimming pool good food and lovey staff
Extreme value for money
Disliked The camping toilets just something wasn’t right. I don’t know if it’s because it was busy but always just seemed very wet and dirty. I personally think a block would be better.
