What customers say
Great location with beach access. Staff friendly, pitches spacious. On-site pizza/shop popular. Eco-toilets divisive (some fine, others not). Ground can be hard; occasional camper noise. Showers good, but can get busy. Management addressing toilet feedback.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Love, love, loved the location right by the beach. Perfect for taking the paddle board out. Staff were welcoming and friendly and facilities were good.
Disliked Not every camper was using the compost loos correctly, which lead to some unpleasant surprises.

Lovely place, but make sure you factor in the extra day rate.
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Really enjoyed our 4 night stay, very tranquil and in beautiful surroundings!
Disliked We did resent the fact that every campsite we have been to in the last 30 years charges a rate per night but this one charged per day which means we paid for 5 days (even though 2 were half days) and not 4 nights everywhere else, which added an extra £30 to bill.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Beautiful area for walking and relaxing. Private beach access. Perfect place for a wind down weekend.
Disliked The eco toilets were sometimes a bit grim. Not the campsites fault as I think young children were using them unsupervised and blocking them up. There are signs everywhere explaining how to use them but young children should’ve been helped by their parents.

Liked We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space, and being right on the beach was fantastic. We loved swimming in the sea and enjoying the great views across to the Isle of Wight, with the added bonus of watching the ships and boats passing by. There were no queues for the facilities, and they were cleaned regularly.
