What customers say
Stunning spot with beach access, friendly staff, and good facilities. Some found eco-toilets smelly, pegs struggled in hard ground, and noise from campers. Overall, a beautiful, spacious site.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Close to the beach and new forest. Toilet and showers clean
Disliked Knowing how hard was the floor no heavy duty pegs were available for all the guests. No clear allocation when it comes where to put your tents or where is your pitch, that led to arguments between guests. Lots of rules that most guests aren’t following.

Perfect location. Lovely beach.…
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Perfect location. Lovely beach.
Disliked The ground was so hard that we couldn’t get our tent pegs in at all. We had to buy 20 heavy-duty pegs from the campsite shop at £1.25 each, adding another £25 to the cost of our stay.
The eco toilets were a definite no for us. They might work well on an adults-only campsite, but many children simply didn’t know how to use them properly, so they were frequently left in a mess. To be fair, the staff were cleaning them constantly.
There was no dedicated playground, so children were playing throughout the camping areas. That wouldn’t necessarily have been a problem, but footballs were regularly flying towards hot camping stoves and hitting people or their tents. A designated play area would have made the campsite much safer and more enjoyable for everyone.
The campsite was also absolutely swarming with ants, which made the stay even less comfortable.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The staff were fantastic - anything they could do you for you, they would. The pizzas were delicious, the ecotoilets took a bit of getting used to but I love the sentiment. Setting is gorgeous and I don't think you can be closer to the sea without camping on the beach.
Disliked There is definitely a family vibe, having some more activities to do for little ones would be nice - I could imagine a nice play park/football pitches right in the middle. Poor signal in the area, wifi across the campsite would have been handy. Only a few small things though.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The view and the quiet.
Disliked Eco toilets. Stinky awful and really not necessary. They have showers which a lot of campsites dont, yet these awful toilets, right next to where you brush your teeth and wash up.. Over 100 people pooing into a bucket isnt hygienic .

Great eco site very friendly and well set up
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The space and view - could see for miles across the sea and very close to the beach - plenty of room on the campsite for everyone - the eco toilets and showers were kept clean several times a day - reassuring also when the security person drove (slowly) round the site several times in the evening
Pizza on the Friday is a great option and bacon sandwiches on a Saturday means you don’t have to carry so much food .
Disliked Not having an option to stay on longer if needed (only open for weekends) - check out later on a Sunday isn’t available which was a shame especially when only arriving late ish on the Friday
The music noise from some campers on the other side of the field on the sat night wasn’t dealt with very quickly which was a shame especially as everyone else had their music down much lower as to not interfere with anyone else but wouldn’t stop me staying at this site again.

Eco toilets take some getting used to, but kept clean and are well maintained.
Hot water daily which was a nice surprise!
Direct access to beach.
Options to hire fire pits.
Onsite shop selling some basics.
Breakfast menu and pizzas.
Opportunity to hire pre-pitched tents.
Disliked The price of the pizzas was quite expensive for the size they were.
