What customers say
Awesome views, chilled vibe, and plenty of room. Tidy facilities, handy gear trolleys. Close to Lancaster and South Lakes. No cars on field can be a bit of a trek, but staff are ace and help out when they can.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Very spacious and quiet campsite. 2 other tents on our second day and you could barely see them with them being so spread out. We had the site to ourselves one night and it didn't feel any different the next when others were there. There's 2 metal carts for moving your gear from the unloading bay at the entrance so it's easy even when you've brought a ridiculous amount of stuff like we had. Showers were hot and toilets clean, they never any queue for them. The brief interactions we had with staff they were lovely.
Highlight was definitely watching the Barn Swallows out most of the day flying low to the ground across the top of the campsite.
