Three miles from Blackpool! If you want to pitch up near the Pleasure Beach, give things a whirl at Pipers Height Caravan Park, set in 60 acres of greenery an easy drive or bus ride from the city sights and lights. Pipers Height doesn't like to toot its own horn, but it's got a pretty solid reputation for its high standards as a family-run park, with newly renovated and spotlessly kept amenities including toilet and shower blocks with underfloor heating, separate disabled and family facilities, and a well-maintained laundry room with coin-operated machines, an iron and an ironing board. Also on site is an adventure playground with zipwire (for the kids to reach heady heights at) and a well-stocked shop (for ice-cream afterwards). And if you're planning to boogie the night away in Blackpool? Get a bus from the nearby Tesco into town for a couple of quid; taxis back should cost about a tenner. Party on.

Fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site

Liked Really enjoyed our stay at this site. Staff are so warm and friendly.Tracey was so helpful and nothing was a problem if you needed help. Site amenities are very good and toilets and surrounding areas are spotless. The dogs loved the stay too, especially the dog walking area around the site. We will definitely be returning next summer.

Liked Enjoyed 3 days there, whilst celebrating mum's 90th birthday.
The staff were very welcoming, helpful & friendly.
The facilities were very clean & well maintained. Pitches were large & the site was much more peaceful than expected.
'The Drunken stag' was an added bonus !
It was also very easily accessible, being only a few minutes off the motorway.

Liked A lovely clean site with spacious pitches. Staff were very attentive. The facilities were extremely clean. The park was a great addition and kept the children amused for hours.

Liked What a gem of a holiday park! Clean, tidy, welcoming and set in beautiful surroundings. Tracey and Russel are the most perfect site wardens. They could not do enough for us. They are so welcoming and kind and easy to talk to. They are both fantastic, and so knowledgeable about the local area, down to where to get the best fish and chips from! We will certainly be going back to Pipers Height caravan park in the not to distant future! Thank you Russel and Tracey for helping us to have a lovely time, on our first touring caravan holiday. You are both brilliant xx

Liked Ease of check in, we checked in before arrival and just drove in through the automatic barrier straight to our pitch. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Large sized super pitches and everything was well maintained, especially the toilet/shower block. Good play area for children of all ages with the added bonus of the outdoor bar for adults,

Disliked Unfortunately the pitch was really hard making it very difficult to get even the strongest of pegs in or out.

The Pleasure Beach theme park has been going strong since 1896 and is the most visited attraction in all the land, with the biggest number of rollercoasters of any theme park in Britain. The Big One, the tallest rollercoaster in the UK (once the world) will give anyone a big drop in their tum on its very big drops: very highly recommended. A climb up Blackpool Tower and a delve into Blackpool Tower Dungeon should be next, before trips to Blackpool's three other main attractions: Blackpool Zoo, set in 32 acres and with over 1,500 animals; Blackpool Sea Life Centre, where over 2,000 inhabitants live in 50+ displays, and the city's Sandcastle Waterpark, the biggest indoor waterpark in the UK.
