Sparklingly clean, peaceful spot with friendly staff, great facilities (showers, playground!). Cosy pods. WiFi patchy. Lovely location, people keen to return. Some facilities a walk, shop could be better.

Bluebell fully-serviced gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked Clean, well maintained facilities. Pitches are a good size and the hedges helped create some privacy. Good base for exploring.

Disliked Not necessarily a negative but WiFi is poor so ensure you don't reply on it whilst onsite.

Bluebell fully-serviced gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked Lovely site, great facilities (washroom, reception, shop, playground)
Didn’t have the opportunity to try the spa, gym etc as was holidaying with young children but am sure these were equally good!
Very quiet well maintained park, perfect for visiting Windermere attractions.

Disliked WiFi was poor, showed as connected but buffered on everything.

Bluebell fully-serviced gravel and concrete motorhome site

Liked Lovely park. Very welcoming and clean. We used the washing machine and dryers which were excellent. The shop was nice and had some lovely items in it.
We loved being greeted by the ducks!

I left my mobile in the washing machine area and a lovely lady (a resident- I think) tracked me down. So so kind as we were a long way from home - south coast!

Showers were lovely and hot- clean area.

Disliked Nothing.

Local attractions

A converted mill on the banks of the Leven houses the Lakeland Motor Museum (five minutes’ drive), with a vast collection of vintage vehicles – from bicycles and scooters to motorcars, plus the Campbell Bluebird Exhibition, featuring several vehicles used by Donald Campbell during his speed-record breaking attempts. The kids might enjoy meeting Peter Rabbit, Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-Tail and other beloved characters at the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, in Bowness-on-Windermere (25 minutes). Here, they can also learn about the author and her conservation efforts, while across Windermere Lake is National Trust - Hill Top (25 minutes), the farmhouse she bought in 1905. National Trust - Sizergh (25 minutes) is a medieval property that’s been home to the same family for 800 years. During this time, they have accumulated a remarkable collection of portraits and decorative art objects. Stroll through the extensive grounds looking for butterflies and hawfinches.
