What customers say
Black Beck Holiday Park's grounds and modern loos/showers are spot on. Relaxing vibe, heaps of wildlife, and staff are legends. Great spot for exploring the Lakes. Wi-Fi can be a bit patchy, and some sites are a bit of a trek to the facilities, but new ones are being added.

Lovely location but we probably wouldn’t return.
Bluebell fully-serviced gravel and concrete caravan site
Liked Lovely location, nice staff, good clean facilities.
Disliked The touring pitches in Daffodil were unsightly and we didn’t feel we could put our gazebo up as was just all stones. A nice bit of grass at the side with the stones contained within the boundaries would be much nicer. Pitches should also be numbered… someone has parked up in ours while we were out the last day. Phone signal non-existent unfortunately.

Great family site- exceptional facilities
Bluebell fully-serviced gravel and concrete caravan site
Liked Amazing site for visiting the Lake District. Good size level pitches. Amazing facilities- best bathroom set up we’ve ever been too! Spa was an optional extra and was lovely. Well stocked on site shop. Out 8 year old loved the freedom of the park and making new friends. WiFi worked fine for us. Walked to the local pub for dinner was excellent.

Bluebell fully-serviced gravel and concrete caravan site
Liked If you can stay in the daffodil touring area it is very nice. However other touring area is very crowded .
Disliked Quiet time not until 11.30pm (way later than any campsite I have ever stayed in) and kids kicking balls around the pitches . We requested to move to other touring area which they accommodated but was asked to move back for our last night, we chose to leave instead as the other area was so hectic and not relaxing at all

POD itself is a unique experience.
Hot tub was awesome.
Disliked No WiFi it shows good strength but nothing will work guaranteed.
Water temp off tap is 65-70 degrees but no one came tp fox it.
Tv channels don’t work most times due to poor connection.
Staff don’t change towels or provide fresh toilet rolls or toiletries unless you keep asking everyday. I specified I need new towels everyday but it never came unless I went and requested for it.
Bed wasn’t made when it is supposed to be as per their website took us an hr after a long day to do that.
Little or no privacy. Our much more expensive stay was right next to pitched tents!! Didn’t expect that.
Wrong fitted sheet size provided.
Bathroom had a constant smell. It was gone after a few days.
It’s glamping and we expect hotel style camping but it wasn’t the case.
Found old underwear from previous stay in the room.
