What customers say
Great, peaceful spot. Friendly staff, top facilities. Easy access to Ullswater & Pooley Bridge. Downsides: slow/paid Wi-Fi, weak TV signal, some pitches lack privacy/sun. Still, highly recommended and keen to return.

9M fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site
Liked Hastle free check in , easy access to our pitch, professionally run site, excellent space between standings, shower and toilet block dated but meticulously clean at all times
Disliked Nothing to dislike, I do feel if the owners offered mini bus transport to Pooley Bridge at a reasonable cost it would prove to be extremely profitable and would be used by all on the site, not just the tourers

Liked Everything! Lovely staff, tranquility, spotless toilet block (always clean) excellent showers, on site shop. Short walk into Pooley Bridge, where you’ll find a small selection of shops and pubs. Before reaching Pooly Bridge, you’ll find the Boat Steamer Peir for a tour of the lake. Would definitely stay again (requesting a pitch that got the sun).
Fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site (maximum 8 metres)
Liked Lovely location and lovely site
Easy short walk to Pooley Bridge with places to eat and drink
Ullswater minutes away and is the nicest of all the lakes. The Ullswater Way walk is accessible directly from the site.
Facilities very good and clean
Disliked Wifi is provided by a third party and you have to pay for wifi. For a week it is £15 and is not al all premium, very slow and intermittent.
A lot of pitches did not get any afternoon or early evening sun. Try to avoid pitches 13 to 21.
