What customers say
Lovely campsite behind a pub, great base for exploring. Spacious, level pitches. Enjoyed entertainment, friendly staff, and good food. Facilities a bit limited (one toilet/shower), but pub toilets handy. Occasional train noise and busy spells.

Good stay would come back but only for a short stay
Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked Location, large field with plenty of spaces to camp, pub on site serving food & also had karaoke on the evening we were there, allows fires, friendly staff. Guy going the karaoke was a good laugh.
Disliked Only one toilet cubicle which is shared for both men and women, 1 small shower and 1 washroom and the washroom shower was cold.

More of a party site with a relaxed attitude to camping imo
Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked Play ground for the children, easy access to pub and meals, close to Ingleton falls for the walk.
Pub food was decent enough. More toilets provided in the pub, to the two ports cabin loos outside.
Disliked Party crowd on the Friday, with a large group with loud music, shouting, swearing till the am, dogs not on leads as per the rules, several dogs coming to eat food our food and pee on tents as owners paid no attention to them. No rules enforced. Small toddlers left unattended by campers to wander in the pub and on the climbing frame, too busy drinking to pay any attention to their children or dog. Only 2 showers, one which scalded you or froze you. So 1 shower for the whole site.
Staff friendly at the pub, but understaffed so service was very slow, and so was check in.
Definitely more of a relaxed site with a more relaxed attitude of campers the nights we were there.
There is a Cockerel on site!?!! crowing from around 4am, so camp at the far end, or bring good ear plugs....., also a train line runs along the side of it, and lots of farm animals, making noise which I personally don't mind as it's the countryside. Those who want a strict site with enforced quiet times should probably stay elsewhere

Decent enough for the price, but don't expect luxury
Powered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked Pub food onsite cheap, not bad selection of beer in the bar and a pool table available.
Little play park for the kids in the beer garden, small site which is easy to see kids from all areas.
Easy to find, good base for walking as nice spots nearby.
Disliked Rules not enforced so we ended up with lots of dogs off leads entering tents, groups allowed to make lots of noise late at night etc.
Not enough toilets or showers, good do with at least doubling the amount available.

Fantastic location and facilities

Liked The playpark, the washing facilities and the area was well kept.
Disliked Dogs on lead but owners dog was free roam. We couldn't let our dog off so he barked because he couldn't play.

Powered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked A fantastic hidden gem. Punch bowl staff were very attentive and helpful. The landlady, Helen I think her name was and her team were brilliant on what was a very busy day. As it turned out there was a private birthday party which everyone was welcome to join in. Bouncy castle, disco and Andre did a turn as Elvis which was very entertaining. The toilet facilties were clean and tidy on day of arrival but got hammered through the night so quite messy and lacked toilet roll. Which was the only nagative point of our stay. But overall a lovely stay and would recommend it.
