What customers say
A small, peaceful farm stay with sea/Abbey views, perfect for Whitby walks. Generous, level pitches. Basic but clean facilities. Friendly owners, farm animals add charm. Pot wash suggested.

Not the biggest pitch and everything felt crammed
Powered grass motorhome site
Liked The pitch was in a beautiful location, quiet and secluded. Horses on the farm very friendly and it was nice to greet them.
Disliked The site itself is quite small and could imagine quite crammed in the summer months. Disappointed with the one shower on site which was full of insects and leaves on both occasions we used it, and it's located next to one of the pitches, along with the waste area, luckily we were not allocated that pitch. No refuge bins that we could see to dispose of rubbish and we had to drive our camper to the fresh water fill up point which was also crammed in with the waste point and shower cubicle.

Liked Lovely peaceful site with scenic views. Clean facilities and lovely owners. Once set up, you can just take up the surroundings. A relatively easy walk straight to Whitby. Mind you do have to traverse the 199 steps but the views are worth it!

Powered grass caravan site
Liked Lovely peaceful site, with lovely views of the abbey and over sea. Great walk to Whitby along the coast path about 1 mile to the abbey, pay a visit to brewery for well earned drink.
Site has a small container like toilet block, with a very clean and modern single toilet and shower.
We’ll definitely be coming back to pet the friendly horses.

Liked Lovely small site on a working farm.
The pitches are a really good size and fairly flat.
The toilet and shower were a great facility.
The location was perfect for a walk into town (We took 2 different routes).
Great location for a walk along the cliff tops.
We had three lovely Silkies walking round the van which was nice and rustic especially as our dog is used to both birds and livestock so no worries about her barking at them.
There is fresh water available which was handy.
Will definitely be back to this relaxing site.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.
Maybe could do with a pot wash area but that’s not a dislike or complaint but a constructive request.
There is one thing to note in that some idiots in a motorhome left the toilet area and shower area a real mess with water everywhere.
If you use the facilities then please respect not only the owners property but also leave it tidy for other people to use.
The culprits made the mess the evening before departure the following morning.
We tend to find those in campervans more respectful.
The above is not the fault of the site owners but merely mentioning it for others who may be of similar standards.
