The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dog Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).- No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
- Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed on site.
- Bookings must not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.
- The campground/park caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
- At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.

Liked: The view and the peaceful atmosphere.
Disliked: Only one toilet and one shower that was integrated so we had to wait for the toilet on a few occasions. There was no toilet paper on arrival in the evening and it wasn’t replenished until the following day. The toilet seat was flimsy and kept falling down. There was no shelf in the shower to place all washing toiletries and the shower head was difficult to replace and kept falling off at the top. There was no washing up area so we had to struggle bending down to wash up with a tap near the ground. We thought it was very expensive for what amenities there were.

From the manager: Hi Joanne, a simple call or text and I could have topped up the supplies in the toilet block for you in seconds, we only use 5 pitches and during your stay 2 were occupied so not sure the ratio of toilets to guests could have been much improved. in relation to washing up area, we do not adveritse having one so a little unfair to be critical on this point. Liked: The location , owners friendly.
Disliked: Only one toilet and integrated in that was the shower . Also the text informing us of the pitch number was late so we pitched up in the wrong position first of all then had to move to a new position later.

Liked: Lovely weekend at Brook Farm. Tom came and introduced himself and advised the best way to walk into Whitby. Ideal spot for walking. A bit windy but to be expected.
Facilities kept clean and help promptly given with an electrics problem and resolved.

Liked: We have been to Whitby many times and until we visited Brook House Farm we had not found the right site to stay at. Brook House Farm was perfect for us and our 2 Springer Spaniels. The views are amazing, you can see the Abbey and the sea from your pitch and its only a 25 minute walk into Whitby. If you want to wake up to the sound of a cockerel, say hi to Quiz and Charlie 2 friendly horses, walk past the sheep and newly born lambs and watch the cheeky billy goats frolicking in their field then this is the place for you.

Liked: On a farm. In the beautiful countryside, waking up next to a field of ponies. What’s not to love. Whitby just a short walk, either along the coastline or the lanes, away. A short text on the morning of arrival to let you know where to park and that’s it. No mithering, taking precious time from your trip. Small site with adequate facilities. I would definitely return.

Liked: Location - a nice 1 mile walk on the cliff tops to Whitby and not much difference going on the road.

Even left ua extension cable in case we needed it.

Liked: The peace and quiet of a small site; the views and it felt very safe as a solo traveller. Everyone on site was very friendly; it was a pleasant walk into Whitby and a superb coastal path walk to Robin Hood’s Bay. Would recommend, and hope to return.
