- Spacious site in the Yorkshire Dales, a 10-minute drive from Skipton
- Bolton Abbey Steam Railway 10 minutes’ drive; Ilkley 15 minutes
- Dogs welcome; habitat lakes for wildlife; nearby walking trails
Site type
- Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
- The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dog Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
- No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
- No cars/motorbikes by the pitch/unit. All cars must be parked in the designated area.
- At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the campground/park are unlit.
- No naked flames are allowed inside the hired accommodation units.
- If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.

Liked: Toilet block was immaculate, hot water consistently.
Kitchen facilities, handy fridge and freezer which you can use. Washing machine that can be used for few (£1).
Pitch tents are good with good views.

Liked: Such a lovely site and the owners were present and helpful but not overbearing. So helpful and lovely.
The showers were hot and spotless, really impressed.
Waking up on Saturday morning and swimming in the lake followed by a hot shower was living the dream.
Dog friendly, kid friendly and fire pits allowed, ticked all out boxes.
Disliked: Electric hook up would be useful but this is me being really picky.

Liked: Clean facilities, a warm welcome, great location.
Wild swimming lake.
A new site still being landscaped, they are trying hard and have clearly invested.
Disliked: Nothing really, a nearby pub would be nice but that's all.

Liked: The very thoughtfully landscaped site with a variety of pitching areas suitable for both large social groups and smaller more secluded areas for couples wanting privacy.
The fabulous wild swimming ponds
The clean toilet facilities
The excellent kitchen facilities with free fridge/freezer use, phone charging ports, spare tent peg box and much more.
The amazing wildlife - the evening bird watching and early morning bird call listening was a highlight for us
The fabulous views of the dales and idyllic sunsets
Richard’s personal touch of making the effort to chat to all his guests to ensure their satisfaction and enjoyment of his beautiful campsite

Liked: Everything, the pod was immaculate and had everything you need, the views from the site were amazing (private lakes too!) and the location being so close to Skipton. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back

Swimming pond with a wood fired sauna!!
Facilities are really clean, well maintained with great extra touches (teatowels/shampoo/soap)

Liked: Steven was super friendly and easy going as we arrived on site. Very welcoming. Site has gorgeous views and watching the sunset was amazing. Little girls loved exploring around the ponds and the forest.
