What customers say
Great spot, friendly staff & well-kept grounds. Spacious pitches, good bar/pizza. Facilities clean, though a bit dated. Lovely walks nearby. Many keen to come back.

Great site and setting but some facilities need a bit of attention
Powered gravel and concrete caravan site
Liked Beautiful location in an amazing setting, spacious pitches, great to have a bar on site. All the team were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked The toilets and showers were in need of some attention both in terms of consistent facilities in them (some have no hanging pegs etc.) and they were also very well used so would have benefitted from more regular cleaning.
Also the lack of a designated Motor Home Service Point with ground level grey water disposal would be useful.

Overall greate site and will use it the future
Powered grass site
Liked Great location, friendly owners, good facilities onsite.
Very reasonable price per night and drinks in the bar.
The pizza night was also excellent.
Disliked Nothing really, if anything a few pot holes need filling in on the track to the pitches.

WE fill the pot holes in the winter. but it does slow traffic down on the part so acts as a good deterrent

Would stay again but at a time when it was less busy
Unpowered grass site
Liked Big area to pitch great view of the hills nice little pub and dog run area
Disliked Busyness of the road right behind us, the smell of weed constantly, toilets not big enough for site I know there are a few dotted around the site but in the corner near the entrance there isn’t enough toilets nor were they very clean and when people have a shower the water runs under where your sat on the toilet and unsure what it was but best part of the night there was a high pitch beep noise

Chilled placed super dobre ;)
Unpowered grass site
Liked Nice site , very busy , rabbits just chilling around the site without a care in the world :)
Had an on site shop , bar , and a pizza place too .
Some good routes in the area for walking / hiking etc .
Disliked Not the sites fault but next time we would book an adults only site as our first night we were next to some very rude children and parent and ruined the experience a bit , but once they left the next day things were great .
They do allow pit fires but don’t supply them so you’d have to bring your own with you .

From the manager: Hi Ian
Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay.
We have 6 facilities blocks
1 new, 2 newly refurbished with individual units and people love these>
We have blocks which are all good and work and we are continually improving these.
They are cleaned 5 times a day on weekends and 3 times a day weekdays.
We do regular checks during the day too.

Well located and good sized pitches
Powered grass site
Liked Well priced, well positioned campsite with good sized pitches. Open areas for the kids to play. Free showers and enough facilities. The pizzas are incredible and worth booking and the bar seems to always be open. The bar sells logs for fires. There are lots of small shops to get provisions locally, including a great wine and cheese place. Good pub in local village. 5 mins drive to Clapham for the caves and walk up Ingleborough. 10 mins drive to Ingleton for the waterfalls, pump track and walk up Ingleborough. East drive to all three peaks.
Disliked Showers were incredibly hot and you can't turn them down. There's a shop that only opens 9-10 and 12-1, we never got to it but my kids desperately wanted the toys in there to play with. Make sure you take everything you need as the nearest big supermarket is a long drive away.
