What customers say
Peaceful, roomy wild camp spot with clean loos. Geoff's a top bloke, the rural setting's ace for star-gazing, and there's a cool swingy oak. Farm goodies available. Some road noise/path limits, but brilliant value for a chill break. New compost loo's a bonus.

It suited me for one night but was a little noisy.
Unpowered grass and earth tent site
Liked Beautiful location and I was the only one there so it was quiet on the people side of things. Composting toilet is a great idea.
Disliked Lots of road noise and some train noise. Not too bad during the day but noticeable at night. I ended up wearing earplugs which I feel is a safety issue when camping as a lone female. If I wasn’t alone I wouldn’t have an issue with the noise or wearing earplugs to sleep. I only wore them this time because there was no one else around and I was quite confident that nobody knew I was there except the person that took my booking. The toilet, bins and water situation could have done with some tidying up. The hand washing tap ran from a container that was a bit green (I topped it up with my unused water when I left) there was a water fountain type thing that looked like it either needed cleaning or removing and the bins were quite full.

Will be back next year.
Unpowered grass and earth tent site
Liked Great space, lots of wildlife, decent eco toilet. Other campers were low key and respectful. Cool tyre swing on beautiful oak in the centre. Can buy some produce bits on site, lots of stuff to do close by. Dog friendly space and mine loved it. Beautiful dark sky area, some star gazing and stunning moon light! Host is a lovely human being too. Totally recommend.

Unpowered grass and earth tent site
Liked We've been coming camping here the last few years and plan on returning every year in the future! Kids have great fun running round and playing in the swing, there a huge wooded area to walk round only a 5 minute walk, in the evening you can relax around a camp fire (which comes in great for cooking when you forget a camping stove) 🤦♀️

Liked Great camping field, we’ve stayed a couple of times now. Close to Dunwich and Covehithe, and Two Magpies right there for breakfast and coffee. Geoff also a hero for helping me to jumpstart my car. Composting loo is a great upgrade
