What customers say
Lovely, peaceful spot for horse fans. Staff are great, facilities clean and pitches comfy with views. Track can be tricky when wet, and facilities are a bit of a walk from some spots, but it’s a cracker of a place you’ll want to revisit.

Great site & staff, even washing machine by the showers and toilets.

Liked Had a nice break there. We were given a nice welcome from Marcia and Olivia. Olivia walked us round where everything was. Excellent WiFi The site was near local village , which had Chinese and Indian takeaways, however we had great meals in the Greyhound. Daily home cooked specials for £7. Then a Sunday dinner like your Mum would make. Lovely being pitched along the horse fields. We don't know if we are going to be that way again, but if we are we will use again.

Liked Lovely quiet site, fantastic if you like horses.
Super helpful owners (Karl and Sharon) saved our holiday.
On the drive to the campsite we unfortunately hit a pigeon which smashed one of our motor home's headlights.
We were booked to travel to Europe the next day so this could have been disastrous!
Karl put us in touch with a local garage that look after his horses boxes and they got the problem sorted within hours, without this local contact I doubt we would have been able to get the issue sorted so quickly.
Disliked The track leading to the site is a bit rough. There had been a lot of rain and it was flooded making it difficult to see the lumps and bumps, drive slowly!!

Disliked Pitches are quite close to each, I heard multiple snorers throughout the night from surrounding campers!

Liked What a lovely little place this is
We stayed for 3 nights over the Bank holiday weekend in our tent we're a couple in our 60's
The Lady who checked us in was very nice & she showed us where everything was
It's a small site (perfect for us) the field is flat and the pitches were spacious
With views over the fields. The shower and toilet block were clean with hot water at the washing up sink also a washing machine looking forward to booking again
