The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.- No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed on site.
- Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
- Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.

Liked: Just what we were looking for, rural location, ability to have a fire pit, lovely walks and a pub close by. Ben very responsive when asked a question 😀
Disliked: A bit messy near the toilet /shower area

Liked: Peaceful site... Very friendly people on site.. Only stayed for 1 night so had what I needed.
I would stay again as location was good for our needs. 02 signal was good on 4g
Disliked: Not a dislike as such but toilet block needs updating for longer stays if not self contained.

Liked: I'd booked a grass tent pitch but because of the rain Ben told me to use one of the hard standing pitches instead, for which I'm grateful!!
Lovely site, perfect for a weekend (or longer) bit of peace and quiet. Basic facilities but that was ideal for me. Excellent value for money I'd say, will definitely stay here again.

Liked: We chose this Campsite as we were visiting family who have just moved into the area. The motorhome pitches are very large my motorhome is 8 meters in length and there was plenty of room ( I am going to guess Ten meters by 8 meters ) I was a bit worried as the booking site said 7 x 5 but apparently that was the maximum they can put on. As we were only there one night as soon as we arrived in the afternoon we filled up with water ( tap right by the pitch ) plugged in and went to visit family didn't get back till 9.00pm. It was very nice not to have to be off the pitch at a set time this enabled us to pop off to see the family again on Sunday morning. When we got back had a lovely chat with the manager of the site they are doing a lot of work to improve the site. Currently building a washing up area. The elsan point was near the entrance to the motorhome area in a green shed. A plumbed In toilet that was very clean. I didn't actually get to look at the toilet and showers as we were in a rush to see the family. The price is a little high for us at £25 we would normally pay £20 including electric but this could be the area its not somewhere we have been before but saying that if we were around the area again we would probably stay here again.
Disliked: Unfortunately for us and we knew nothing about it when we booked there was a yearly Hunt Ball ( £140 a ticket! ) in a neighbouring field in a marquee which had extremely loud music couldn't make out if it was a band and DJ or just a DJ. I thought perhaps it would finish at 11.00pm but no it went on blaring away till 2.00am how on earth they got a licence to play till 2.00am is totally beyond me ( must have been some brown envelopes at the council offices!!! This is the sole reason for only giving the campsite a three stars.

Liked: Large field, very quiet, adults only. Loads of space to choose a pitch. Owner Ben was very friendly.
Lots of footpaths and walks in the area. Great for an overnight stop.
Disliked: Only 1 shower and toilet which are a bit of a walk from the camping field.

Liked: Quiet, secure, open, last minute booking
Disliked: Toilets are quite a walk and there isn’t a path so during any evening/night/morning you will get wet toes over the grass. Toilets could do with an upgrade, the shower cubicle is quite uncomfortable as it sprays out onto the floor and the curtain obviously sticks to you… but as expected for the low price to be fair!

Liked: Clean, quiet, dog friendly with public footpaths nearby for walks, electric hookups and easily accessible water taps (owner let us borrow his hose to fill our van), disposal points for black waste and dog waste
Disliked: Wasn't clear where to dispose of grey and black waste (had to ask a touring camper)
