What customers say
Awesome spot, super clean facilities, and really peaceful. Owners are legends! Level pitches and good fishing. Some reckon it's a bit strict with rules and not much for kids. Dog owners found it a bit tight for space too.

Lovely peaceful site, with great clean facilities

Liked Lovely peaceful campsite with good clean facilities. The fishing pools were full of fish which the kids loved to see and they were fascinated by the neighbouring cows.
Great open space in the tent field for our little lioness to have a kick around.
Disliked Only concern was the electric hook up being a bit far from the pitch and our cable not reaching, but were were moved further along.

Very clean shower/toilet facilities. Checkout 4pm
Powered grass site
Liked The toilet/shower facilities are so clean, really don't mind the 50p charge for shower, 6mins is long enough, the extra security of having your own key to lock the main door is a bonus. Stayed on EHU T26 next to the cow field which my granddaughter loved.
Loved the 4pm checkout!
Disliked Nearest tap is through another field near toilet block.
Howling/barking of dogs closeby (must be a local boarding/kennels)
Road noise.
Camping field is basic, with two compost heaps. More care given to the touring fields.

Liked Great site and a lovely overnight stop

Disliked Only issue we payed £2 for our dog but you couldn't walk your dog on site and no facilities at all for dogs so what is the £2 for?

Don’t do it….life is too short !
Powered grass site
Liked 1) Facilities OK, clean 2) Mostly level pitches
Disliked Where do I start ? Here goes:- 1) Pitches felt tiny, ‘cheek by jowl’ 2) Very noisy, we were kept awake until up until 2am by a noisy group(s) 3) Signage everywhere saying what you can’t do, sometimes illogical e.g. why are bicycles not allowed ? 4) Use of keys and tokens to access facilities in an isolated rural area is ridiculous 5) Children and pets are supposedly welcome but the tolerance level is very low, clearly frowned upon 5) Now for the worst aspect - an unfriendly and officious attitude when you’re supposed to be relaxing on your holidays.

Facilities on site very clean, level pitches etc.
Powered grass site
Liked Quiet, peaceful site which was tucked away in beautiful countryside.
Facilities up to a clean standard, although for the amount of caravans (residential/seasonal/touting) on site, the facilities didn't seem enough.
Disliked Not very dog friendly, no exercise area and permitted from walking your dog around the site.
Advice was to exercise your dog off the premises onto country lanes/roads with no pathways.
The site details on site plan recycling ♻️ takes place, although only one large open skip in place for all rubbish.
