Liked The site was exactly what we were looking for! Back to basics, but there were portaloos and running water. Absolutely perfect!
The children enjoyed collecting wood from the woods and building a fire.
Disliked I have no complaints at all!

Liked This is exactly what we wanted- a big quiet peaceful field where the kids could run free, where we could light the fire pit and cook marshmallows and sleep soundly to the sound of the leaves rustling in the woods around us
Disliked Bit of a slope, the portaloos were a bit smelly

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Lovely site. Big field with about 5 portaloos. Campsite owners were very helpful on the phone on arrival and also when I needed to ask a group to quieten down at midnight.
Toilets were checked many times through the day.
Taps on site near all loos.
Hot air balloons flew over head in the morning.
Disliked Signage could do with being a bit bigger but to be honest you cant really go too wrong.
The gate on entry kept swinging shut. So if travelling on your own it can be tricky. Luckily my kids held the gate open.
Toilets did get a tad smelly at times - but they are just portaloos so was expected.
Sink in toilets didnt work so make sure you have a bucket to make a hand wash station.
Peaceful, love the wild camping feel…

Liked Lovely peacefull sight. Back to basics just a look and a tap. But in a lovely meadow amongst the trees what else do you need. Campfire. Beautiful stay.
Disliked Nothing really. Signage is a bit small and hard to see as green amongst the greenery. But that's all really.
Perhaps a dog poo bin. Fortunately I brought lots of bags ti double wrap and take litter home.
