Liked: The reception was friendly and helpful. Shower not push button.
Disliked: Very Sloping hard standing pitch - ramps unable to level Tired shower block No soap in dispensers. Grey water disposal a small drain where you need to reverse towards and a hose to reach. To cap it all, on a peaceful Sunday afternoon a caravanner decided to blast out Barbara Streisand for all to hear and sang along for an hour… a member of staff walked past him and he said nothing…we left next morning…just not good enough 🤷♂️

Liked: The site was very clean and tidy and very well run by the wardens that lived on site. It had a very nice shop with a few camping essentials. The toilets were kept clean and tidy and all other essential areas were clean and tidy too.
Disliked: I didn’t have any dislikes, the only thing I would say is the pitches are very close together but that’s not a criticism.

Disliked: Pitches very unlevel, very close to your neighbours in all directions too cramped personally. We only had our caravan as just a weekend but if we had awning on there would be No space for car. Tbh it was a fire hazard

Liked: Proximity to Stratford-upon-Avon - a pleasant, fairly easy walk along the river or along the road with pavement all the way
Disliked: The facilities were tired and dated, with insufficient toilets/showers for the size of the site.(50 pitches and only 2 toilet cubicles in the gents/ 3 in the ladies) Also only 2 washing up sinks - again insufficient and often people queuing to use them Pitches feel very cramped with rows close together so vans are pretty much parked back to back. Our pitch was regularly used as a shortcut to the facilities, even if we were sitting out - wardens are aware that this is an issue. Site was not peaceful - car alarm going off repeatedly in the night, music playing, dogs barking incessantly (this was dealt with by wardens but only after we spoke to them - they were aware but had not thought to speak to the owners). Confusion over who were the wardens as the person who showed us to the pitch was just another camper (who possibly lives there permanently) - wardens day off but this was not explained. Buses are not frequent - one an hour on weekdays and every 2 hours on a Sunday. On-site shop only seemed to open for a very short while in the morning although I believe the wardens will open for you if required. The grass pitches near the hedge at the back of the site appeared to be the better ones - wish we had gone for one of these instead of a gravel pitch. We left a day earlier than planned.
