Immaculate site, helpful staff, and spacious pitches. Spotless, warm showers. Popular on-site bar & pub nearby. Great for canal walks, though road noise can disturb light sleepers.

Liked Great site nice and flat gravel pitches, Club house was good and a pub right across the for nice food.
Disliked Push button showers and road noise which didn't bother us but if you we're a light sleeper it could be a problem.

Fully-serviced gravel caravan site (premium, maximum 7 metres)
Liked Well kept site clean and tidy nice level gravel pitches loved that all pitches were fully serviced and spaced
Disliked Road noise only down side as right beside busy A road wouldn’t recommend if you was light sleeper or hate lorry’s sounding like they are coming into your caravan at 2am lol
Toilet floors could do with refit as looks all bubbly and main male door of reception needs planning to close as does not close fully

Excellent site
Fully-serviced gravel caravan site (XL, premium)
Liked Location, staff, onsite facilities and bar. The toilet and showers are spotless and warm. Lots of options for walks nearby and the local town is a nice distance away for a stroll
Disliked For me it wasn’t a big deal but the noise from the duel carriageway that runs along the back of the site is a little noisy. That said this is the third time I have stayed here and I will return.

Fully-serviced gravel caravan site (premium, maximum 7 metres)
Liked A modern, very well maintained and friendly site. We were looking for a few days peace and relaxation between Christmas and new year with our two dogs and that's exactly what we got. We'll definitely be back in the future. For the more adventurous there is plenty to do in the surrounding area.

Would 100% recommend!
Fully-serviced gravel caravan site (XL, premium)
Liked Arrival and departure times were great. The pitch was huge and it was awesome to have access to water on the pitch as well as electric. We were on pitch 1 which was literally 30 steps to the reception/facilities! The wifi was super speedy and super helpful during our stay! We loved that the toilets/showers were enclosed, you can shower without a gust of freezing cold air shooting through you. The showers themselves were the best we've used so far, the fact that you have a cubicle separating the shower with a curtain was lovely, and there was even a shower caddy inside so you don't have to put any of your toiletries on the floor! Everything was well lit so you felt safe but not so bright that it lit up the campervan at night. The site itself was clean and well-kept. Really handy having 'The Poachers' pub just a 3 minute walk from your pitch too. Absolutely love a dog friendly site too, makes your trip so much better. We would definitely go back, hopefully with some better weather next time!
Disliked Maybe somewhere to wash pots? Our rented campervan had a sink but no plug and the vans water supply was awful :(
