  • Peaceful park with fishing on the banks of the River Teme
  • A 10-minute drive from Ludlow and 30 from Hereford
  • Haven for hikers and birdwatchers; dog friendly; fishing for a fee
Make yourself comfortable at Westbrook Farm Park, a family-friendly site in Little Hereford, a 10-minute drive from the foodie town of Ludlow in Shropshire. This pretty site is on the banks of the Teme River, and is well placed for waterside explorations: there's over half a mile of river for fishing (an additional fee is required), waterside walks (with or without canine companions) and idle times on the site seating or around the picnic tables. Keep your eyes peeled too to spot the birds that flit all around; ducks, herons and kingfishers all have their homes here. Venturing into the surroundings, there are hikes, bike rides and horse riding canters to tackle: the site is 15 minutes from the Grafton Farm Equestrian Centre and walking and cycling trails in the Mortimer Forest, and 20 minutes form Wheely Wonderful Cycling, 20 minutes away. If none of this appeals, an information hut next to reception is full of suggestions for places to see and places to eat and drink nearby... send the kids to the playground, and settle down with a cup of tea or coffee while you consider your options.

Fully-serviced gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked: Beautifully clean and well kept site. Lovely staff and a beautiful countryside setting in an Orchard. Shower blocks were clean and well appointed. Very peaceful. Close to Tenbury, Leominster and Ludlow. As poor tv reception they provide free ‘Freesat’ boxes to connect to the satellite dish on each pitch. Couldn’t fault it.

Disliked: Nothing. Great site.

Fully-serviced grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked: The caravan site was so clean and kept tidy in all areas of the park. the staff were friendly and engaged with the children. Good little play area for the kids along with a field for a ball game. Check in was easy and fuss free. The shower rooms, toilet blocks were clean. As well as the sinks to do your washing up.

Disliked: Only issue was our tent must of had a dip underneath so when it rained we had a little bit of a flood! But didn't stop us having a good time. WiFi was also a bit rubbish (for the kids). But meant they had to interact with the rest of the family for 4 days! 😂

From the manager: Thank you glad you enjoyed your stay , please let us know which pitch you were on so we can level it. thanks

Fully-serviced grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked: Large pitch space Playground Directions to pitch

Disliked: Long distance from facilities. WiFi very poor. No site map. Rudely spoken to by owner - regarding car. Green space by pitch with sign that says no children or ball games ...

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for your review , when you arrive your welcome pack has a site map with directions to your pitch. The facilities are about a two minute walk from the centre green. We ask that there is only one car per pitch and other vehicles are out in the nearby carpark . The Centre Green which has the sign saying no ball games is used for tent pitches and a green space with our planted jubilee garden , there is a large playing field by the playground which is suitable for ball games and the children to play.

Fully-serviced gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked: Large pitches with water, drainage & tv & elec hook up, showers great, separate enclosed washing sinks with hair dryer in each for ladies. Excellent dog exercise area with access into River, nice to have picnic benches to sit at, whole site immaculate, we did have to move pitch as people behind us had constantly barking dogs, this is not campsites fault, we could not be moved for first two nights but were moved for last night & was offered a free late check out

Disliked: The constantly barking dogs ruined our holiday, maybe the campsite should have a policy to ask people to leave, i accept some dogs may bark occasionally but they were constant & were 3 of them, shame as the campsite was one of the best I had stayed at & I would return

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you we are pleased you like our park. We did offer to move you as soon as you came to reception, after the tent with the dogs arrived, When you asked the second time we could still offer a different pitch so hopefully that was better for you. We will always try to accommodate any request for a different pitch if we can. We hope to see you again. .
