Good clean site with lovely walks
Unpowered grass site
Liked Last minute booking for the night (how we choose our sites when travelling as never know where we will end up) late arrival box with site map, we are self contained in our van but toilets/showers and washing up rooms we clean. Site warden popped by in the morning to check all ok, Great Lakes to walk round and clean and tidy. Will definitely stop over again if nearby, very dark site so torch is a must.
Disliked Nothing

Basic small site 4 short stay. more long term residents than tourers
Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked The view across the lake. It was clean and tidy and quiet too.
The sweet smell in the air from the local popcorn factory.
Very quiet and small.
Friendly staff.
Disliked Gas boiler had broken so no hot water for washing or showers.
The entry was past a recycling centre at the back of an industrial estate , with lots of rubbish blowing around. However, the site's grounds were spotless.

Good visit
Powered grass site
Liked Lovely overall campsite, good tent pitch with some nice views, easy to check in and pot wash and bathroom facilities to a good standard. All staff are nice.
Disliked Only issue is the showers would not be suitable for children, the water from the shower is stupidly hot, even hard for adults to shower in due to the heat of the water, could do with making it so users can control the temperature or turning the temperature provided down to make it accessible to all. Showers are not checked regularly enough so sometimes can be a bit dirty form fishermen etc

I certainly won’t be going again.
Bridge Pond powered grass caravan site
Liked I can honestly say the only thing I enjoyed on the park were the views of the ponds.
Disliked There was a disabled toilet Wich I could not use as it was full of toilet rolls and other items used for cleaning.
The ladies toilet was covered in cobwebs and was not clean.
