What customers say

Great facilities like an aqua park & fishing. Staff get a thumbs up for friendliness & site cleanliness. Pitches are roomy. Minor gripes about road noise & shower upkeep, but most had a ripper time and would come back.

Liked Spacious and organised. Good clean facilities. Staff were efficient and friendly. Shop wasn't overpriced and had an incredible range of equipment, aside from the usual markup on food and drink, the practical items were very reasonable. I would have liked to swim in the lake and it was clear (blue IYKYK) they were doing their best to control the weed however on a small lake they didn't stand a chance. Most really large lakes are struggling this year.

Disliked Poor behaviour from other campers. Littering, peeing everywhere after dark, loud music and swearing, encroaching on other pitches for dining and parking and playing football inbetween cars. This was a few large groups nearby, not a reflection on the whole site. Had our children been with us, or our stay been longer, we would have asked to move to a different site or pitch.

Liked Liked the tent pitch and price in the shop for groceries.

Disliked Showers was disgusting and freezing cold they stunk of piss. Price for alcohol in the spa shop absolute joke ridiculous prices. Male cleaner just dressed like his camping going into the ladies toilet shower block cleaning while ladies are in there not even dressed in uniform to identify itself as a cleaner.

Unpowered grass tent site

Liked On site amenities including the pub/restaurant, show bar, shop and arcade.

Disliked Amount of toilets/showers and cleanliness.
Even after the “cleaner” has just been there was still empty toilet roll holders and mess on the sides.

Didn’t seem to be any noise curfew, people playing (terrible) music past midnight.

Liked Great site, big and lots of facilities like shop for essentials and bar and entertainment.

Loved the lady on the golf buggy when we arrived at our pitch who checked we were all ok setting up and didn’t need anything (and leant us her mallet to bash in our pegs!)

Disliked Toilet block could do with more regular cleaning.

Fully-serviced gravel caravan site

Liked This site is perfect for families. It is clean, well kept and friendly. So much so we have enquired for a seasonal pitch.
Perfect location, not far from sea front, with also a leisure centre not far from the site.
The club entertainment was the best I’ve seen. We usually go to big parks like park dean and this sites entertainment topped them all!
We will be returning!

Disliked Showers, although were clean. Could have done with a family shower. Having 2 children under 5, it is easier to shower myself and them both at the same time. The cubical was very small and the water didn’t stay on long.

Local attractions

Mablethorpe, Sutton-on-Sea, Ingoldmells, Skegness and other Lincolnshire lovelies are all close by for the coastal connoisseurs; and market towns, villages and the Lincolnshire Wolds easy to get to inland. At Mablethorpe, many visitors wander through the dunes to Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary, home of many a brightly-coloured bird, birds of prey, primates, reptiles and roguish-looking meerkats as well as the seals. Kids and big kids will probably also like Mablethorpe's miniature railway, boating lake and funfair; fans of the latter should add in Ingoldmells, home of Fantasy Island theme park. This is also a cracking area for nature: more seals can be seen at the popular Donna Nook National Nature Reserve down the coast between Grainthorpe Haven and Saltfleet, and a huge nature reserve teeming with squawking seabirds is at Gibraltar Point near Skegness. Also nearby, bob about in boats or cast off again at the waters of the Lincolnshire Wolds, alongside many miles of trails and bridleways to walk, cycle or horse ride, or bob around Lincolnshire's market towns: recommended options include Alford, Louth and Lincoln.
