What customers say
This well-kept spot has roomy, flat sites and tidy facilities, with individual showers. The bar and restaurant are a hit, serving good, reasonably priced food. Known for its fishing and dog walks. While some mentioned train noise and minor shower hiccups, most feedback's great, with many keen to return.

No where to wash plates!
Tuesday morning at 8.00am an artic lorry drives through the camping site with a container! Then it lowered the container next to the toilet and shower block! I was not impressed, we had no knowledge of this happening.

Tidy pitches…
Fully-serviced concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Tidy pitches
Disliked I never write reviews but felt I need to I’ve been to so many campsites but this is the worst I’ve ever been too. This could be an amazing site with proper thought. The train noise is so loud the pitches are right next to it and it’s all day all night one night it was every 15 minutes you can see them flying passed like a plane coming in. I stayed for 7 nights and got basically no sleep. The shower blocks are good but they can be used by male and female and all the fishermen use them which is wrong they need separate ones for the fishermen. I wouldn’t feel safe with my kids using them on their own In fact I’m surprised it’s allowed. The locks are stupid everyone just keeps bursting in they need normal turn locks not metal spring back drilled in wood. The restaurant is good food nice enough but one night we thought we would go up for a drink to the young lad to say to us sorry we are shut they shut over an hour early. To top it off on our last night there was new people that came and played music until 12.30am shouting and swearing. I read the leaflet thinking I could call the warden but no number you need to walk and get it from reception. So if there’s a problem you need to walk in the pitch black for a number at reception. All parks should be manned there is no warden or anything so people do what they want. I paid a premium at £280 for a week and I need a weeks holiday to get over it which is a shame as I was so looking forward to it. There is so much land it would make much more sense putting the touring pitches in a field away from the trains with a separate shower block. Also no wifi but that did not bother me.
