Liked We were met on entry by a friendly, welcoming and informative lady who made us feel at home immediately. The whole site was gorgeous, top notch facilities that were very well maintained. We hired a fire pit for the night for just £5 which was ideal. We will definitely return with more members of the family and the dog!!

A gorgeous dog friendly camping location with great facilities
Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked Solo female with dog - I received a warm welcome from the owner who gave me a sheet with information and offered me to pitch up whenever I fancied.
I was car camping so I just pulled up by the main building and used the facilities. The indoor facilities were super clean and I saw someone cleaning them on a few of occasions over the two days. The facilities are gender split which I found made me felt safer personally.
Once I was done with facilities I drove further afield (pun intended 😄) and found a very quiet spot for me and my dog to chill. I really like the effort that has been put into planting flowers and making a little seating area near the main building. It just was all very pretty.
The field was huge and I had privacy and probably could have survived without my own privacy covers.
In the evening I went for a walk with the dog following the gravel path with him on the lead.
A small warning to dog owners is that at the end of the gravel path is a stream but it is deceptively very low down and if your dog falls in you will likely be on your tummy trying to pull them out again. If I had realised then I would have put mine on a short lead and prevented him launching himself in. 😄
During the pretty walk we met the neighbouring horses and went to the penned dog area for a run around. Later in the evening the main facilities close and the shed toilets are available.
Sunrise was beautiful.
Great location for getting into other areas of the Cotswolds. Really good phone signal on O2 and was even able to stream a bit of Netflix.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.

From the manager: Thank you so much for such a detailed and thoughtful review, Jemma.
We're delighted that you and your dog had such a positive stay with us. As a solo traveller, it's especially nice to hear that you felt safe, welcome, and comfortable throughout your visit. Creating a friendly and relaxed environment for all our guests is something we care deeply about.
It was lovely reading about your time exploring the site, enjoying the dog walk, meeting the horses, and finding your own peaceful corner of the field. We're also glad you appreciated the flowers and seating area around the main building, those little touches are things we enjoy adding to make the site feel more inviting.
Your description of the sunrise, the space, and the tranquillity really captures what we love about Pebbly Barn Farm. And your warning about the stream certainly made us smile, dogs do seem to have a remarkable talent for finding water wherever they go!
Thank you as well for sharing your photos. It's always wonderful to see the site through our guests' eyes.
We really appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you and your four-legged companion back to Pebbly Barn Farm again soon.

Perfectly kept campsite
Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked Beautifully well kept site - loads and loads of space. Just the kind of place we like - pitch where you want and no electric. Facilities really clean and plenty of them - owners seemingly constantly checking on them to make sure they were clean and restocked. Very friendly welcome by the family owners - we asked John if it was OK to have some family members over for a bbq during the afternoon and he couldn’t have been more welcoming. Quite close to Moreton in Marsh (35 mins walk) with its pubs, restaurants and shops.

It's also great to hear you noticed the team's efforts to keep the facilities clean and well stocked throughout the day. We take a lot of pride in maintaining the site and creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
I'm glad we could help make your family BBQ work too. Camping is all about spending time together, and it was a pleasure to have you and your family here.
