A cracking, spotless Peak District campsite. Top-notch modern facilities, esp. showers, toilets & kitchen. Generally spacious pitches. Minor road noise noted by some, and a few found campervan spots a bit cosy. Still, a brilliant, peaceful stay, most want to come back.

Disliked Although a seemly rural location the pitches backed onto a main road. No peaceful nights sleep here. HGVs trundling through the night into the early hours.
If you're looking for peace and relaxation this may not be for you.

Liked Absolutely everything, the site is just perfect in so many different ways! The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, the facilities are second to none and the location is cracking! This is my second stay here and it will always be my default location to stay in the Peak District. We absolutely loved and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much!

Liked Great location. Brilliant shower/toilets/kitchen. The building also had a tv lounge which was welcome
Disliked No view from hardstanding pitches as wonderful from grass pitch.

Liked Facilities including pitch, showers and loo’s (very clean and modern) wifi good. Separate kitchen and lounge areas are useful. Ease of arrival, good comms and information.
Disliked adjacent road a little noisy at times with early morning motorbikes (it was a sunny weekend)…
