Beautifully kept, friendly site with spacious, level spots. Super clean facilities. Great for exploring the Peak District and Alton Towers. Mostly great reviews, though some mention road noise and few activities. Facilities can get busy.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Very friendly and helpful owners. Good instructions. Lovely field overlooking some stunning scenery.
Showers hot and lots of toilet and washing etc facilities.
Nothing really to dislike- we were in ‘pretty field’ which was perfect but the other field maybe didn’t have much of a view.
It was quite noisy for a campsite- a lot of kids and a group of boys kept kicking the football into our tent so a separate ‘sports area’ might be quite good at some point- it’s oniy a suggestion - but everyone did respect the 11 pm quiet rule.
Great location just outside Ashbourne and perfect for walking around Dovedale.

Fantastic stay. We will be back.
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Pitches were well spaced out. The couple running the campsite were really nice. Everything was spotlessly clean.
We had a campfire which was brilliant. Little tuk shop for the kids was really good.
Disliked Not really a major dislike, but could do with a couple more toilets. And a few more mirrors. But not really a dislike.

Liked We loved our stay at Common End Farm! We had a really friendly welcome from the owners on arrival, and were provided with all of the key information. The site itself was well kept and had ample facilities. It was also very dog friendly with plenty of space to walk the pups.
The pitch was flat and a great size. The free roaming chickens were quite comical and certainly something different!
We had no problems with noise and our fellow campers seemed a friendly bunch!
The area itself is beautiful and there is plenty to see and do.
Disliked Nothing.

Really loved our stay at Common End farm and would definitely return.
Powered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Facilities were all very clean and well maintained. The camping field was lovely, good condition and large pitches which were well marked out. Plenty of space in the middle of the field for kids (and us) to play games. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we could rent a fire pit. Felt a very welcoming, friendly and well run site in general.
Disliked Being on a main road means road noise isn't ideal but unavoidable and not too bad.
