A clean, peaceful campsite with helpful staff. Spacious, level pitches. Praised for spotless facilities. Great Peak District base, good for dogs and kids. Minor road noise/Wi-Fi issues, but most love it and want to come back.

Clean, good value for money
Powered grass site
Liked The camp site was clean and tidy. The campers were friendly and kept to the 11pm till 8am quiet times. Toilets and showers were clean. Good value for money. Walks nearby and short drive to village.
Disliked Tent area was sloped but ok to sleep if you had a camp bed. Not easy if your a floor sleeper. 11am leaving time meant we were a bit rushed.

Liked Greeted by a lovely lady who welcomed us. Shower block, toilets, and the site in general was clean and tidy. When booking we were unsure if this site was suitable for young families, but it more than catered for us. Lovely little walks around the site and a great little play area for the children to run around in.

A great base for exploring
Powered grass site
Liked We love it here. It has everything we need for a very reasonable price. Toilets clean, staff friendly, endless things to do within a few miles. Second year running and we will go back. For me this is a happy medium, it’s not “eco” basic, it’s got everything and it’s in good condition and well maintained. It’s a perfect base to explore the area as there is plenty to do. Also 2 years in a row we’ve been lucky to share the site with exclusively lovely people - really friendly and respectful clientele
Disliked There isn’t any WiFi - we didn’t mind but I can’t get the rating off!
