Liked Great location by the river and Velovert 6, toilet block good, clean and lots of hot water.

Disliked Only issue was people who let their dogs roam around, my wife stood in some dog mess and walked it into our tent which was pretty disgusting, why do people think that it’s okay to behave like this?

Liked Great site, fantastic facilities, one of the best toilet blocks we have ever seen, lovely views, nice pond in the middle of the site. Very quiet, owners friendly. It has a communal building with TV, games, seating, a table and chairs, microwave etc

Liked Great location, we walked in to Cordes sur ceil, and cycled through some beautiful villages, nice sunny pitch, private, toilet block was very clean, friendly owners as well

Liked Great location, we had view of estuary, facilities new and clean, helpful and friendly owners, supermarket next door, easy access to camel trail. Padstow a short walk (there’s a steep hill down, but if you come back the longer route it’s not so steep

Liked Nice level pitch, direct access from site to woodland walk, few hundred yards from cycling in the forest, good clean facilities, nice bar and home made pizza and breakfast, friendly owners. We saw a family of deer in the next field at dusk

Disliked Not the site’s fault but there is no path on the road to St Agnes, and the road was quite busy when we were there

Liked Exceptional facilities, very well maintained and thought out, on site shop was very reasonable prices, the bar area is very good, staff helpful and friendly

Disliked The only complaint I have is that I think £12.50 for hook up is too expensive, that equates to over 50kw at current prices. We were on a non electric pitch but had a battery issue so had to move to a pitch with hookup. We were in a camper and I doubt if we used 1kw, I know some of the big motor homes can use a lot of electricity, so maybe have a tariff based on van type or on usage? You can’t argue that it pays for the facilities as not every one uses the hook up.

Liked Quiet location, nice views, we didn’t park under the trees, so pitch was level and sunny. Toilet block was nice and clean showers were hot

Disliked Not a dislike, but not much to do from the site we like to cycle and walk but the roads are quite busy no mountain bike trails nearby. The Hereford Way does go through the campsite but it’s not very well marked or advertised. Also didn’t get to try the restaurant as it only opens Wednesday to Sunday from 930 till 3 o’clock. Nearest shop is about 4 miles away

Liked Everything, excellent professionally run site everything spotless well maintained very friendly helpful staff toilets immaculate great shop on site to get a few basics had a really nice breakfast roll before we set off great location for exploring the new forest short walk to the nearby town where you can get groceries go out for a meal, takeaway or bars. definitely coming back here again

Liked Fantastic location for cycling and walking, great little town for restaurants and a supermarket, new toilet/shower/washing up block, spacious pitches, small river runs through the site

Disliked Pitches were looking tired, Wi-Fi only by the bar, site is being redeveloped over the winter with lots of permanent lodges so touring pitches will only be by the road from next year

Liked Showerblock, good size, clean, hot water, washing up facilities spacious. Nice restaurant on site, free pass to the natural water park. Good cycling routes from site, shop in Birkendorf for essentials. Nice restaurant with animal park about a mile along woodland gravel path from the site

Disliked Lot of insects, but the hosts can’t really do anything about that. Possibly a bit expensive at £20/night
