Liked Easy arrival and directions, nice spacious pitches and fantastic, clean facilities, missed out on the pizzas Friday but got Fish and Chips on the Saturday. Playground very good and just a great base for visiting North Yorkshire and Scarborough.

Liked Excellent location between Pickering and Scarborough, site clean and well managed with shop on cafe where evening pizzas can be ordered Tent had everything for overnight stays and outside area with picnic table and barbecue was good. Coolbox and camping gas ring allows kettle to be boiled but don't expect cookware

Disliked Not much wrong with the pitch, tent or site, no pans or cooking utensils so bring your own if you plan cooking meals

Liked Simple Check in at reception. Toilets and showers clean and well maintained Onsite restaurant and cafe a real bonus

Liked Excellent Site - clear arrival instructions, landscaped pitches and spotlessly clean facilities. Lots of clever touches - like wheelbarrows to help people carry equipment to and from the pitches. Shop does coffee and pastries in the morning and is well stocked with camping essentials. Like the fridge freezer room which makes longer stays with perishable food possible. Only 20 minutes walk to the two pubs in Appletreewick

Disliked Only the weather which was OK on the first night but wet and dreary on the second so we pulled down one night early

Liked Friendly and quick Check in, quiet location (bit of road noise but nothing terrible), easy electric hook up and water taps along electric hook up hedge. Kitchenette had fridge freezer. Hot water in Shower/toilet blocks Chickens running around pitches entertained children Easy to walk into Pickering via quiet woodland

Disliked I could see that having 1 or 2 sinks and 4 shower/toilet cubicles could lead to waiting at busy periods

Liked Everything, friendly and well organised on arrival, pod was clean and well laid out with all you could need for up to a week's stay - no dishwashers or washing machine but laundrette services are available in nearby towns. Stunning view from the decking balcony with picnic tables and very quiet location meant a proper relaxing break.

Disliked Only that we had to leave and could not stay longer

Liked Friendly check in, very spacious , close to Austwick/Clapham so good start point for walking. Correspondence very well organised

Disliked Only criticism was the hot water was off in 6 of the 10 Shower cubicles which, if the site was busier could have involved a lot of queuing (they were trying to contact a plumber over the weekend). Cannot comment on Pizzas or Bar as both closed when we were there. Understand that COVID restrictions meant campers cleaned up after themselves in the showers/toilets and materials left out for this - criticism is of others rather than Dalesbridge cleaning staff.
