Electric optional grass pitch (no pets)
Liked - Spacious pitch
- massive grounds to explore
- activities great for bigger kids
- price was good
Disliked - not enough toilet blocks as people were just using the bushes next to our caravan. Even just having a porterloo would be good.
- swimming pool was only open in the afternoon for some reason & we couldnt get in as there were too many people
- couldnt find a toilet/chemical waste disposal on site, found 1 but it was no where near us.

Welshpool, Powys, Wales
Fully-serviced grass pitch
Liked Playground was good for kids.
Site was very tidy.
Clean showers & toilets.
Disliked Bit of a frosty welcome. Didnt really explain where anything was.
Wifi that we paid for didnt work.
Felt more of a static caravan park rather than for tourers.
Where are the sheep? No mention from the owner about sheep farming or being able to help out as it suggested.
Felt a bit trapped in a tiny touring field.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Lady friendly & helpful but didn't feel over-watched.
Lovely views.
Lovely area with lots of local attractions. Would have liked to have stayed longer to do more of the Sandstone trail.
Disliked The weeds near the chickens could do with pulling if I had to be picky - only cos I have a lil boy but other than that was great! Nothing bad! X

From the manager: Thank you for your review. Glad you enjoyed your stay. I let the wildflowers grow a little along the hen run.but they are. Not. Tall. It. Stops the hens being frightened by dogs poking their noses through the chicken wire.
Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, England
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked - quiet location in the countryside
- the tree & the hay bales were nice
- toilets clean & nice Dove soap
- friendly text off the lady who owns in which was a nice touch
- animals (alpacas & pigs)
- goal posts & ball for kids to play
Disliked - the amount of nettles/spikey weeds everywhere, the field was just covered in them & my lil one kept falling in them
- nettles near the animals so you couldnt get near the gate to look properly, lil one nearly ran into a huge pile of nettles
- electric hook up needed a proper plug adapter thing not a touring caravan hook up thing. Thankfully the guy on site lent us one.

From the manager: Thank you or your review, I just want to clarify we do not offer WIFI at all on the camp site so it would have been fairer to not give it a rating as it simply isn't on offer. Sorry to hear your toddler nearly ran into some nettles. I'm glad Scott was able to supply your adapter it was my birthday and I forgot to leave one out for you, some guests have their own some don't.
Skegness, Lincolnshire, England
Electric grass touring caravan pitch
Liked Location was lovely, so close to the beach. Plus arcades a short walk away.
The toilets & shower block were clean.
Although it was a busy site it was still quiet at bedtime which was good.
Everyone seemed friendly.
Disliked The gravel path/road up to the site was awful with a pram - be better if that was tarmac'd.
Also for some reason we struggled to find it on Google sat nav when searching for it.
Toilet/shower block dated but still usable & fine.
No play area for kids or shop onsite besides the tackle shop for the fisherman.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Kids loved the playground, toilet block was clean, everyone was really friendly. Although it was quite lively & music from people on the evening they didn't go on all night so that was good. Also glass cover over the outdoor pool so when it was cold could still go in.
Disliked Pool was green, needs a little more looking after to keep it clean. Also people smoking inside the pub, put us off having a meal in there so we went elsewhere for food.

Nomadic yurt (no pets)
Liked Yurt was lovely, cosy with fairy lights, heating, kettle mugs/tea/coffee etc, double bed was so comfy, pull out double day bed was handy for kids. We was so close to our own key coded toilet block which was cleaned regularly. Shower block looked new & didnt require tokens like the website said so that was a bonus - lovely hot water. Free roaming peacocks kids loved & they had enough space to run about & play houses/swing/go kart to do. Not far from Bridlington at all so location was perfect. Overall lovely, we had read some bad reviews for this place however not sure what their deal was & we found everything pleasant!
Disliked First impressions when you turn into the place (before you get to the yurts) was that it was a car park of a discount superstore - seemed very random. But once you get to the yurts it's better. Only thing I could pick fault with is on website when you book it says beds made up, but then was told later after booking that linen isnt included but could pay £40 extra for it. Perhaps that could be updated on the website when booking? Oh & if you a light sleeper fetch ear plugs as the peacocks make mating calls in the early morning. I slept fine with ear plugs though.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Big playground, pub food was lovely, location easy to find, toilets & porterloos clean & looked after, alpacas in a field next to us. Basically couldn't have asked for better!
Disliked There wasn't much 'management' of the camping area really, the 10.30pm no noise policy wasn't adhered to by people drinking. Didn't get much sleep both nights we stayed & drunks kept waking our kids with drunk arguments etc. Shame really, put a downer on our stay as everything but that was fab!

From the manager: Thank you for your nice comments about the campsite and pub . we do walk the camp site on regular intervals and last thing at night, There was no noise when we did the last walk around on the Friday night.. I also came out straight away when you rang me to say people were being loud , and ask them to be quite which I believe they did, you also thanked me for doing this . we also spoke to the people the next day.we are sorry on a rare occasion this has happened.
Hayle, Cornwall, England
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Playground, shower & toilet facilities, location - not far from lots of different beaches, outdoor heated pool, restaurant & games room.
Disliked the space for electric hook up was split between ours & the next tent was a bit annoying as the next door tent put theirs up right in front of the electric thing which meant if we wanted hook up we would have to be right next to their tent.
