Electric gravel touring caravan pitch
Liked Andrew gave us a very warm welcome on arrival and took the time to explain the site and recommend some excellent local walks. The location is perfect for exploring both the North Yorkshire Moors and the Yorkshire coast. The village pub, The Grapes, is within walking distance and well worth a visit.
The site is clean, tidy and very well maintained. The toilet and shower facilities were spotless throughout our stay, and the pitches are level and spacious. It is a peaceful site with plenty of wildlife, making it an ideal place to relax after a day of walking and exploring.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Stayed here recently and was really impressed. The pitches are a great size with plenty of space between units, which makes it feel relaxed and not overcrowded. Facilities are excellent, with lots of showers and toilets available, all clean and well maintained during our stay.
The location is also a big plus with easy access to local shops and supermarkets and only a short Uber ride into York city centre, which made days and nights out really convenient without the hassle of driving.
Overall a very well-kept, friendly and well-located site. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked A lovely hidden gem! It might feel like you’ve taken a wrong turn through the car park and along the river, but once there it’s a fantastic spot. We stayed on Pitch 3. Plenty of seasonal pitches, all very friendly. The facilities were spotless, with two mixed-gender toilets, each with an electric shower. Ripponden village is just a 5-minute stroll away and has everything you need, great pubs, coffee shops, and takeaways. We had an excellent Sunday lunch at The Old Bridge Inn, enjoyed craft beers at Indii Brew Co, and a few ales at The Last Post. Perfect base for walks and exploring Hebden Bridge and Sowerby Bridge.
Disliked Nothing really... Access can be a bit unusual the first time you arrive, but it’s straightforward once you know.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Stayed at Lamb Cottage for 4 days and we were greeted upon our arrival. We were allowed to choose our own fully serviced pitch and this was a good size for our caravan, awning and car. The showers and toilets (Men's, Women's & Disabled) were immaculate, warm, and clean with music playing. Great little information hut that was well stocked with books etc. All though we didn't use it the site has a lovely dog walk and heated dog wash for muddy paws. The recycling area was clean and tidy along with the chemical disposal point. Overall an excellent, peaceful well-kept site that we will certainly visit again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.
Disliked Absolutely Nothing.

Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch
Liked The location is ideal for walkers, Castle Howard and Malton. Spacious fully serviced pitches. Clean & tidy site.
Disliked The toilet/shower block was in need of modernisation and didn't always appear clean and was quite far from the main site for those, especially under canvas. Only one toilet waste disposal point is situated near the shower block. Cars certainly don't stick to the speed limit. Wardens not checking pitches as a camper van and caravan were both sharing the same pitch and clearly together as a group. No free wifi and the site wifi charges are unreasonable.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Farditch Farm is a nice well kept small site that has decent-sized pitches that are fully serviced. The facilities are excellent including the toilets and showers, a kitchen that has a microwave, kettle, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Also at the site was a very large lounge area with a TV.
The site is within easy reach of Buxton and Bakewell.
Disliked It has to be said as many others have said before, but the road noise is pretty bad, however for those like ourselves that only used the site as a base it didn't impact us too much.
The signage states that the facilities can be closed for up to 2 hours from midday, however they were still closed at 3.30 pm one day. Not sure why the whole facilities have to be closed and not just the toilets, shower, kitchen or day room!

From the manager: Thank you for your review, glad you liked the facilities. The facilities were closed later than usual on one day during your stay due to the housekeepers being exceptionally busy, they therefore started cleaning later than usual. Best Wishes, Rebecca

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked On arrival, I was met by staff who were very friendly and informative about the best pitch that met our needs as this is a choose your own pitch on arrival. (Pitch 72 sunshine all day!). The site is secure with a barrier and you are given an entrance card to operate. The hard-standing pitch is enormous and we managed to fit our caravan, awning and car on the pitch and still had plenty of room and not on top of the people on either side. Plenty of waste bins, grey water, fresh water and toilet disposal around the site, all very clean. The one-way system and speed limit make the site feel safe. Plenty of Male, female and family showers and toilets, to be expected the site was full so not always clean and fully stocked with soap and paper towels. For those that like ice cream, then you won't be disappointed as it visited the site every night we were there. Plenty of walks straight from the site and particularly the one to The Smiddy, which is a must to visit as the meat and other food are 1st class. The site is well located for visiting other places such as Stirling and Edinburgh. No TV reception, however, each site has an external TV aerial socket and the staff loaned us a long enough cable to use. Wardens are always available, very friendly and approachable if needed. Not a dislike, however, the speed bumps are HUGE along the lane toward the site, obviously there for a reason, but certainly, give your van a good shake. Also, for those that live for the wifi, it may be free and is very good when nobody else is using it, but when the site is full then you will be disappointed. (Take that as a GOOD thing and chill and relax with NO Social Media). 😉

Liked Just returned from a GREAT 3 days at Ash Keys Caravan Park. Prior to arriving, I was emailed a very informative Welcome/Info pack that came in very handy. On arrival, you can choose your own pitch and all are very spacious with water, grey water waste and aerial. Two toilets are situated in garden sheds on the site which are very quirky and very spacious and clean with further toilets and the showers located near the entrance a short walk from the site. Close to the village of Gargrave for food, pubs and fish & chips if needed. Lovely scenery and walks and driving distance from other FANTASTIC locations within the Yorkshire Dales.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked This is an Adult only site with 10 pitches. Just off the M5 and located on the busy A38. Decent size pitches, we could park our car and caravan on the hardstanding with the awning on the grass (Pitch 7). Immaculately maintained site including the washing up area, shower, toilet and waste disposal areas, Now to the road noise. Yes the site is situated off the busy A38 however, please don't see this as a Negative. Due to the location, you have good links to many towns with Aldi and Costa less than 1/2 mile away. Yes you do get road noise, but we stayed for 5 days and after a while, you don't realise it and for the majority of the days, we were out exploring the amazing sights that Somerset has to offer. There is a small dog exercise area which is fully enclosed and again, well kept and clean. The owner was very approachable and friendly and had good local knowledge.

Liked We stayed for four nights and found the facilities at the site to be excellent especially the modern and heated toilet block with its good lighting and shower. The large gravel pitch was of a good size and had its own water tap and electricity nearby. The outlook over the surrounding countryside was lovely.

Liked Home after a few days at Otterington Park and wow what a gem. We booked this following the great reviews and we certainly weren't disappointed. Our pitch was huge which gave us plenty of room for our caravan, awning and car all on the hard standing leaving lots of space on the grass for us to sit and lounge also. Our pitch was close to the facilities and the showers and toilets very clean. Certainly recommend Otterington Park and we will be booking for later in the year.

Burgh le Marsh, Lincolnshire, England
Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked This is a little gem in the Lincolnshire Wolds and you wouldn't even know it existed due to its hidden location down a long driveway. The pitch was very flat and everyone a 'Super Pitch' and very generous in size. The toilet/shower block has obviously been recently renovated and these were very modern, clean and warm. Due to COVID-19 a one-way system has been put in place and limited numbers allowed inside and this works. The site is very dog friendly with a lovely walk around the lake. I would recommend and certainly visit again.
Disliked Very smelly grey water drain on pitch 15.

Liked This was a great find. Check-in was quick and easy. Our hardstanding pitch was large and flat, close to the facilities. The toilet and shower block large and very clean. The site has a pub (The Engine Shed) which is Fantastic and reasonably priced. Make sure you walk to the bottom of the site and through the gate as the views are spectacular with the stream. The walks are close and certainly recommend the Viaduct Walk.
Disliked The water pressure in the showers could have been better.
