Liked Beautiful, picturesque surroundings in the middle of Forest of Dean. Very friendly wardens who are always happy to help out.

Disliked Expensive to stay, £100 for 2 nights camping with no electric? And they wanted to charge me extra for bringing a trailer? Not enough toilets and showers for such a large site, and the 3 blocks there are are very dated and need a good refurb. We will probably return though as the pros outweigh the cons.

Liked Well laid out site. Toilet blocks nice and clean. The onsite pub, The Manor Arms is worth a visit with very nice food.

Disliked Not enough toilets in the toilet blocks. Showers in the older blocks are very dated and worn out. Hard to book the swimming pool, always seemed to be fully booked when we tried, especially on the rainy days. Clear speed limit signposted 5mph around pitches, ignored by the staff member who tears around on the golf cart all day.

Liked Lovely quiet site, very relaxed vibe. Check in/out whenever suits you. Very friendly owner who provides fire wood for your fire pit and even brings round fresh local strawberries for guests. Toilets and showers are basic but always kept clean and tidy. Will definitely return next year!
