What customers say
Campsite boasts a peaceful vibe, with grand owners. Toilets & showers are spotless, water's hot! Pitches are grand & private. Handy for Forest of Dean. Basic but clean, though washing up water could be hotter & showers queue in summer. Overall a grand spot.

Good location for enjoying the Wye valley and the Forest of Dean
Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked I really enjoyed our stay, we pitched at the top of the campsite and had a lovely view, and enjoyed watching the horses and birds in the meadow next door.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Clean showers and wash area. Close to forest of dean for a day in the forest.
Disliked This is being very critical as the showers was very clean and suitable. Would have been nice for a larger dry changing section in the shower

Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked The owner was lovely, friendly and helpful.
Disliked Not really the location we expected. Some of the other campers were not respectful of the facilities or other campers. Kids playing football, one set of parents letting their kids ride their bikes around at 6:40am! Even though the quiet times are 8am to 10pm. The chemical waste disposal was very grim it is an IBC caged container and you had to lift up your cassette to a very high level. No facility to rinse your dirty cassette either.

From the manager: Hi I’m sorry you had to experience the kids out and about early. I wasn’t around to monitor this.
Unfortunately some things are out of our hands if we don’t see it.
Also we offer the chemical waste point as an option, we are a very basic campsite and if we had different facilities I’m afraid it would push prices up and we feel we are very reasonable for facilities we offer .
Many thanks for you feedback
