Electric optional grass touring pitch
Liked Clean spacious site with limited but clean facilities. Ideal stop over travelling up the M6. Within easy driving for supermarket and local pubs.
Would recommend a visit to Dunham Massey while your there. One of the better National Trust sites, especially the deer park.

Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland
Non-electric hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked An ideal aire stopover when traveling the NE250 route especially if visiting Fraserburgh and the numerous east coast villages.
Friendly owners with a wealth of local knowledge of good places to visit and eat. Great views across to the sea with access to the beach. Excellent value for money.
And although close to the road, the sound of traffic wasn't intrusive and didn't spoil our sleep.

Forres, Highlands and Islands, Scotland
All-season electric grass pitch
Liked A grand site offering so many options for a stay.
Although we were in the main motorhome area, would have loved camping under canvas in the wooded area. It looked very inviting. Also, a great 'dark night' site when the night sky is cloud free. Plenty of walks in and around the site.
Good clean facilities, and friendly staff too.
Disliked Nothing.

Great base for walking even if it's just to see the River Moriston Falls or the scenic Glenmoriston glen.

Preston, Lancashire, England
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Spacious, clean and quiet site. Ideal stopover travelling up to Scotland,.
Very friendly staff. Only having to pay for electric actually used was a pleasant surprise. Being able to buy local fruit and veg on site from honesty hut.
Disliked Shower is unusual. Reminded me of a the stand-up stalls sometimes seen in a western, with an open-air gap top and bottom. Only two toilets available.

Electric grass and earth tent or motorhome pitch
Liked A good site in a stunning location. The peace and views are lovely, Also a great 'dark night' location for star-gazing on a clear night. Plenty of play areas for kids and the 'Critter Corner' is fun.
Disliked There were limited showers available during our stay. Will get busy as the season gets busier.

Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Very friendly welcome. Nice small and clean site. Ideal for anyone catching a ferry from Rosslare. Has all motor home facilities - grey water and chemical disposal, EHU, and fresh water.
Bonus that pub across road does good food and beer; if that's not your fancy there's a Chinese takeaway even closer.
Disliked Not a problem for us but some may be put off with mixed-sex showers and toilets block; they are individual showers and toilets.

Adare, Co. Limerick, Republic of Ireland
Electric optional hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Such a friendly welcome and what great location. Spacious pitches and very peaceful.
Facilities were very clean; good showers.
Taxi into Adare itself was only 10 euro and meant we could both enjoy a drink with our meal.
Only time meant we couldn't take a dip in the jacuzzi.
Disliked Not a thing.

Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, Wales
Electric optional gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked A lovely clean site with a cracking view across what looked like the whole expanse of the River Loughor.
Travelling through streets and then a farmyard to get here meant we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the camping field was.
The shower and toilet block may be small; two separate showers, more like wet rooms, and two toilets, but all was spotless. Our hard standing pitch, with electric and water, was very roomy.

Southampton, Hampshire, England
Electric grass and gravel motorhome pitch
Liked The location. The friendly staff. The amenities. Waking up to a lovely view of the moorhens taking advantage of the lake before the hardy swimmers arrived. Loved that there were plenty of walks nearby including to a few local eateries and pubs.
And we weren't distracted by the traffic noise from nearby, just tried to imagine as waves washing up on a beach, albeit with the occasional sound of a crab beeping a horn!
