Electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Very very friendly and helpful people at the site. If you get early, you pick the pitch. Not busy, no screaming kids. 3 toilets, 2 with showers that were spotless, the 3rd toilet was full of wildlife, brilliant. An easy 15 min walk to the village with plenty of shops and a pub. Barbecues allowed. Bus service into Ayr.
Disliked Tight entrance to site and not well marked. Unlevel and muddy pitches. The decent pitches were shaded by trees and therefore got no sun.
Pricey for what you are getting.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked The bar and food.
Disliked Our pitch had been waterlogged therefore very muddy. The awning tent couldn't be used on the grass as there was too much of a slope.
In the early hours of Thursday the toilet was required, only to find all of the toilet paper put down stuffing them and excrement left on top. The ladies was used. Early Friday morning again needed the toilet to find the whole floor area covered in mud and grass. Again used the ladies. Felt sorry for the cleaners.
Site too far out from Ayr.
All the advertised walks were found to be on private land.
Surrounded and a bit intimidated by a large group of foreign types (one of whose young lads was seen running from the toilet incidents).

From the manager: Hi George, thanks for taking the time to leave your review. I'm sorry the conditions of your pitch were muddy; we appreciate this this can have an impact on our guests experience and hope you were able to raise any concerns with our dedicated team so that they could look to assist you with this. We're also sorry to hear you were kept awake by your neighbours, we do have a quiet policy on park that guests should be respectful of others and start to lower any noise after 11pm, so it's disappointing to hear that this wasn't your experience on this occasion. I do hope you were able to raise any concerns with our dedicated Guest Experience Team in Reception, so that they could look to try and resolve these issues during your time with us. ^AB
