From the manager: Thanks for your comment about our campsite. I'm very surprised your comment about town. There is a wonderful castle to visit, nice area to discover like the little port... Why didn't you like it? You should have come to see me at reception or gone to the tourist office. We would have given you the "best tips". Furthermore, I am taking this opportunity to inform you that we were very very surprised to discover what you had left on your pitch. Liked Friendly welcome, great pitch, clean and warm facilities with toiletries, nice touch. Really close to Bala Lake, Bala Town & the steam train. Had a great weekend, even with Storm Dave along for the ride!

Liked We really enjoyed our stay at Willow Beck, booked at last minute for 1 night. Lovely warm welcome Only a few pitches, each one spacious, with decent facilities on site Nice walk into the village, visited a working windmill which was great and the local pub was superb. All in all, a great stay, we will be back

Liked Lovely site, very welcoming. Spacious pitches, around a big fishing pond Fab summer house, available for all to use with brilliant facilities inside Toilets / showers were spotless and warm Really enjoyed our stay!

Disliked The Facilities - very poor standard of cleaning, lots of spiders webs & spiders everywhere, washing up area dirty and dark, toilets are in what looks like a shipping container, again lots of spiders and low level of cleanliness, also freezing cold. Hot water though. Ripped flags hanging from trees. The other toilet block had a toilet and shower which smelt horrific!

I can only apologize for our very industrious spiders but I do contest the "very poor standard of cleaning" as stacey and the girls do a great job! I would suggest you do a bit more research in future regarding where you want to stay as all our facilities are shown in the photos on pitchup.

Liked Really easy check in. The facilities were immaculate and pitches level and well spaced out. The new addition of the coffee shop is brilliant, lovely fresh croissant and hot coffee. Safe walk into Hornsea off the road. All in all a great stay.
