Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Very clean site, recycling bins, even a bin for your doggy poop bags. This site is very remote at least 20 mins from nearest shops in much wenlock, telford and shrewbury 30 minutes away. Very quiet site with its own lending library. The toilet block has 2 bathrooms with a toillet and shower in each. It was about £1 for a good shower. Electric, water and waste all near each pitch. Plenty of room on each pitch for caravan, awning and your car.
Disliked Narrow country roads to get to the site.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked WOW..... What a great site for adults. Margaret greeted us when we arrived. We pitched our caravan in a lovely spot. Water, electric and waste drain all on our hard standing pitch. Bit of a slope but we coped. Toilets and showers were lovely and clean. The regulars were very friendly and helped us to put up our awning. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely views. Got to mention the robotic grass mower,

Liked Wow!!! If you like a small site with great facilities, clean, peace and quiet this is the site for you. Had to choose our own pitch. Great hard standings with space to park our car next to caravan. Water short walk away. Free WiFi which did work. Lovely views of hills and a few animals.

Electric grass pitch (large)
Liked We were on pitch 37, no protection from the wind. Could of done with a road up to pitch 40 as the grass was very wet and we had to park our car in a car park away from tent. Toilet and shower block was best we have ever used. warm, clean, plenty of room and music playing. Washing up area had 2 sinks with plenty of hot water. Laundry room with washing machine and dryer, plus a fridge and freezer if you needed to use it. Dog wash around the back of building. Our pitch had its own electric hookup point with our own tap. On our second night there were gusts of winds between 37 and 50 km/h, our tent became a kite and all our guidelines and pegs were blown out of the ground. Luckily for us the owners of the site had spare pegs and other campers helped us to secure the tent down with appropriate 4 pegs to each guideline. Make sure if in a tent to take your wellies and check weather forecast for this area.
Disliked Couldn't use the disabled toilet has the door was locked.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch (large)
Liked Pitch space was great and level ish. Site, toilets, showers, washing up area kept very clean. Looking at calfs, alpacas, donkey, etc. Our electric didn't reach the outlet, we were able to borrow an extension.
Disliked The stone driveways. If site full there were no spare grass for children to play football, cricket, etc.

Liked Dawn and Mick make you feel welcome and are always around. The site is small. There is a play area which is well stocked with scooters, bikes, dressing up, etc. The site, Shower and toilet block, washing up is very clean and tidy. All pitches are flat. Plenty of room for children to run, ride bikes, play outdoors in safety.
Disliked Can hear the main road, but didn't notice it after 1st night.

From the manager: Hi Marion, many thanks for your review and I’m sorry to hear that you won’t be visiting our site again, but totally understand if the road was too much to contend with. We are a basic site, with few facilities, we are more geared up for primary school age, but not so much for older children. Good luck where ever you pitch next.

Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Views from camping field. Toilets and shower block clean and warm. Washing up area had bowls and drainers
Disliked Camping field sloping not slightly. Near to main road so noise all the time, by the 3rd night we were used to it and slept ok.
No play area for children. The small wood area had a fire and there was glass and other objects left there.

Electric grass tent pitch
Liked The pitch was big enough for our large tent, site was quiet. The play area was clean and kept our daughter very busy. Toilet and shower blook was clean, tidy and warm. Washing up room had 2 sinks and drainers. The views were outstanding could see the sea and hills from our tent. Beach only short walk away. Garage, banks and tescos in Millon only 10 minutes drive away.
Disliked Having to pay extra for the swimming pool and the water was very cold. The shop sold very little so make sure you take the essentials with you.
