Liked Lovely small campsite. Hard standing pitch for my T4 campervan. Peaceful. The shower/toilet block was clean. Water tap right next to the pitch. Area for cleaning cooking utensils. Had a text message, saying I didn't need to check in.

Liked It took me a while to find it, never trust a sat nav! Once there, I had a friendly welcome & as it was quiet, I was told I could pitch anywhere in the field, in my T4 campervan. I only needed to stay one night. It had a lovely view overlooking the bay. Showers were little wooden shacks, clean & were adequate. Also had an area for washing cooking utensils. Had a water supply not far from the camping field. I didn't pay the little extra for the composting toilet, instead using the portaloo. This is the reason for the 7 star rating. All of the portaloos needed emptying, I do lots of music festivals, and know what they're like. This really is my only criticism. I was told, this was only a pop up campsite, which only operates 60 days in a year, fair enough, but, please get the loos serviced regularly. There was an onsite bar, which opened from 7pm for a couple of hours. Beer prices, very reasonable. Apart from the loos, I enjoyed my stay.

Disliked Portaloos, needed to be emptied regularly.

Liked I had a friendly, warm welcome when I arrived. As it was quiet, I was told I could park my T4 campervan anywhere in the field. In the camping field there was a urinal, a male & female composting toilet & a sink to wash used cooking implements. The field nearest the farmhouse, had a shower block. All was very clean. A water supply also in the camping field. I was informed that there was a pub, Co-Op & restaurants, a 15 minute walk from the site, through a small piece of woodland. The email & text I received was very concise & informative. I only stayed for 1 night, and if I returned to the area, would definitely like to return. Excellent site & great value for money.
