Sintra Camping Garden

Liked How small and friendly the site was.
It had Great little pool.
Location to visit Sintra
The owners let us use their washing machine, however did feel a bit awkward asking, but very appreciative to use.
Didn’t use the kitchen area so cannot comment but looked equipped.

Disliked The toilet/shower area floor was clean and mopped but left very wet, slippery.
I nearly went flying the 1st time i entered but once I know it was a risk to fall I entered bare feet. All was ok. Might be idea to dry main floor area after mopping.

Liked Another issue. The white gravel in the parking area gave off a white powdery dust that migrates to every surface.Filthy. To be quite blunt if this was in England I would be suing for damage to van. Pine resin hardens unless removed quickly.

Disliked Van got covered in resin sap from pine tree. Owner had to supply petrol to remove from glass and paintwork. Unable to remove from roof due to height. What makes this appalling is that the owner knew of the problem but still parks visitors there!!!

We provided the petrol and helped all the way until all was removed and you seemed to be satisfied with the solution provided so we do not understand your comment details.

Liked Carlos die ons goed ontving en ons wegwijs maakte. We waren een uurtje te vroeg maar daar maakte hij geen probleem over. Het water in de douches was warm.

Disliked Voor onze camper was de poort om binnen te komen heel krap. Ik zou het niet nog eens doen.

Liked The owner contacted us the day before our visit to confirm our reservation. Communication was good, helped by Carlo speaking English He was helpful about suggestions when visiting Sintra.
Our Campervan is small so our pitch was in the area in his garden which is shared with the chickens and dogs (not messy). There was plenty of parking space.
The toilet (always with toilet tissue) and showers were clean with plenty of hot water. The washing up area had a double sink and drainer which we appreciated.
The swimming pool was in a fenced off area and was lovely after a hot day sight seeing.
The WiFi connection was good.
We enjoyed our stay and added an extra night.

Disliked Toilettes et douches dont la propreté laisse à désirer. Les murs sont vraiment sales et les moisissures présentes ds les douches. Lavage du linge disponible ds sa maison à 5 euros collectés à la fin du séjour

Recebemos contacto da plataforma e até lhe oferecemos uma noite extra e o senhor não compareceu. O seu comentário é injusto e não corresponde à verdade.

Liked Carlos was warm and welcoming, showed us where all facilities were and the WiFi code. Booked for 1 night and the next morning we decided to stay a second night so booked again. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Nice to see dogs and chickens on site, they were not roaming around in the camping area.

Liked Grundsätzlich eine schöne Idee Stellplätze im eigenen Garten zur Verfügung zu stellen. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich.

Disliked Die Vögel im Garten waren eher unangenehm und die Sanitäranlagen könnten leicht verbessert werden, wenn man das Silikon erneuern würde. Es ist nicht nur optisch nicht schön, sondern auch nicht gut für die Gesundheit.
