What customers say
Beautiful mountain views, perfect for Snowdon & Llanberis. Staff are sound, facilities are grand (showers £1/8min), campfires welcome. Pitches can be sloped. Great value & atmosphere, highly rated despite minor noise/cleanliness issues now sorted.

A lovely location but the facilities were lacking.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Location and scenery. Friendly welcome.
Disliked Needs facilities near to the bottom fields. It's a long walk up a very steep hill to access the toilets and showers. There is a hostel at the bottom field so water and electric could be hooked up.
There needs to be speed limit signs along the road up to the campsite not just on the entrance to the field. Cars race up and down way too fast.
There are not enough toilets or showers to cater for a busy weekend.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
Regarding the suggestion of providing water and electricity from the youth hostel, although it is located nearby, it is a completely separate business and is not affiliated with our campsite. Unfortunately, we cannot connect to or use the hostel's water or electricity supply, as it is privately owned and entirely separate from our own infrastructure.
In relation to vehicle speeds, the access road is a council-owned public highway and is subject to the village's standard 20 mph speed limit. As it is not our road, we are unable to install or enforce additional speed limit signage there. However, once vehicles enter our property, we have numerous signs throughout the yard reminding drivers to slow down, and we continue to encourage all visitors to drive carefully and respectfully.
We appreciate your comments regarding the number of toilets and showers during busy periods. Just over a year ago, we added two additional toilets to help ease the pressure on the main toilet block during peak times, and we continue to review our facilities and consider guest feedback as we look for ways to improve.
Thank you again for your comments, and we wish you all the best.
