  • Spacious site a short drive from Eryri/Snowdonia National Park
  • Within easy reach of beaches, watersports and a mountain railway
  • Barbecues welcome and several supermarkets within easy reach
Seeking a sojourn within easy reach of the smashingly spectacular Eryri/Snowdonia National Park? Close to several splendid beaches and within easy reach by car or bike from several towns for foodie spots and cosy pubs? Treborth Hall Farm Caravan Site should, then, tick off a fair few of your Welsh holiday boxes. This peaceful walled park is a 20-minute walk from the Anglesey Isle town of Menai Bridge, home to several traditional pubs and other eateries for off-site sips and scoffs. You can be in Bangor on your bike in 15 minutes too, or hop in the car and be there in less than 10; highly beau Beaumaris is bikeable too – reach it in a little over half an hour on two wheels, or be there in half the time on four. When it comes to stuff for kids to do, they’ve got reams of room to roam freely around, plus a play area too should they require fun structures to clamber on; for a spot of gentle grownup activity, there's a public footpath just outside that forms a loop connecting to the Wales Coast Path, which in turn provides access to Treborth Botanic Garden. For food on site you’re more than welcome to get a barbecue going – several supermarkets are within easy reach around the nearby towns for all your sizzling supplies, and there are also lots of pubs, restaurants and takeaways too. Among the on-site amenities are toilets and two shower blocks with coin-operated showers with plenty of piping-hot water.

Disliked The shower block, and in particular the showers let the site down. Showers were grubby and did not have a cover on the drain so it would be easy to lose soap etc. My husband's shower was lukewarm whereas mine only had two temperatures- freezing or scalding, making it impossible to have a shower. Please fix the thermostats!

From the manager: Thank you for your review.

We’re glad you found our location ideal, the site tidy, and our staff friendly — which makes your overall score of 5 out of 10 and some of the low ratings feel quite contradictory.

Regarding the showers, we had a high number of guests staying during the same period, and we received no other complaints. The facilities are regularly checked, but we will follow up on the thermostats to ensure everything is in full working order.

In terms of child-friendliness, we do have a children’s play area which many families enjoy. While we don’t provide large-scale entertainment, we aim to offer a safe, clean, and relaxed environment for children and families alike.

We always welcome constructive feedback, but it’s disappointing when a review doesn’t reflect the overall experience accurately — especially when the positives are clearly acknowledged.

We’d be happy to welcome you back in future, and perhaps you’ll feel differently on a return visit.

Electric grass pitch

Liked We pitched in the field looking towards the woods. It was lovely and peaceful and very secure. The staff were very helpful on arrival ensuring that my sister could park next to us when she arrived after us.
All the amenities were conveniently placed and very clean.
Well positioned for visiting the surrounding towns & villages. Portmerion is definitely worth a visit.
I would recommend this site to anyone travelling around Wales.

Electric grass pitch

Liked A tale of two sites. The toilets and washing facilities inside the Walled Garden were fine as what you'd expect. Massive pitch, maybe too big.. Cheap enough.

Disliked The EHU were badly positioned, on the other side of a fence z d not seen at first. The facilities outside the Walled Garden were terrible, although certainly an attempt to keep clean has been made. The toilet light goes off after way too short a time, which must be bad in winter. The shower is OK but the shower room is terrible, tired and without enough hooks etc for clothes. (The shower was actually better than the other one inside the Walled Garden wish was poor pressure, fluctuatingtemperature and had a reset outside the cubicle.) The dish washing facilities were the worst I've seen, (mind you ive only been camping for 40 years throughout England, Scotland, Wales, France and Belgium). No hot water, no cover or roof, dirty and the dirty water flows over your feet when released.

From the manager: Thank you for your review.

We’re glad you appreciated the pitch size and value, but feel your comments are overly critical given your one-night stay.

Most of our guests rate us 10/10. Our facilities are basic but clean, functional, and fairly priced. The toilet light timer has never been an issue, and the dishwashing area is clearly shown and regularly maintained.

We’re improving the site each year — though perhaps not to your particular standards. That said, maybe we’ll see you again next year.

Kind regards,
Wilsons Treborth Caravan Park

Disliked Not many electric tent pitches. Took a while to find one. Pitch up description needs updating as fire pits are allowed.

Liked We loved our weekend away! Beautiful site with very generous sized pitches. Toilets were always spotless. Showers were brilliant too, husband was very impressed. Play area for kids was a big plus and my youngster found a couple of friends to play with. Site is close to all major shops and supermarkets.
