  • Spacious site a short drive from Eryri/Snowdonia National Park
  • Within easy reach of beaches, watersports and a mountain railway
  • Barbecues welcome and several supermarkets within easy reach
Seeking a sojourn within easy reach of the smashingly spectacular Eryri/Snowdonia National Park? Close to several splendid beaches and within easy reach by car or bike from several towns for foodie spots and cosy pubs? Treborth Hall Farm Caravan Site should, then, tick off a fair few of your Welsh holiday boxes. This peaceful walled park is a 20-minute walk from the Anglesey Isle town of Menai Bridge, home to several traditional pubs and other eateries for off-site sips and scoffs. You can be in Bangor on your bike in 15 minutes too, or hop in the car and be there in less than 10; highly beau Beaumaris is bikeable too – reach it in a little over half an hour on two wheels, or be there in half the time on four. When it comes to stuff for kids to do, they’ve got reams of room to roam freely around, plus a play area too should they require fun structures to clamber on; for a spot of gentle grownup activity, there's a public footpath just outside that forms a loop connecting to the Wales Coast Path, which in turn provides access to Treborth Botanic Garden. For food on site you’re more than welcome to get a barbecue going – several supermarkets are within easy reach around the nearby towns for all your sizzling supplies, and there are also lots of pubs, restaurants and takeaways too. Among the on-site amenities are toilets and two shower blocks with coin-operated showers with plenty of piping-hot water.

Liked: The site was secure , loved all the trees and greenery around, very tidy, staff lovely and so helpful, toilets clean
Space great around the site

Disliked: Showers not enough of the site was full and they leak into the toilets so always wet and going hot to cold
No hot water to wash dishes
No motorhome dump
Only very few hardstanding pitches have water but pitch in shows pitches for you to
Pitches not very level

All in all a great site and we had a good time, you can see they are doing changes and building new facilities which will enhance the site

Primitive grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: Front of house staff very helpful when first arrived

Disliked: Entrance to site is electric gate that you have to call a number , great of you have signal .
Shown several locations to set up camp , choose one , had very cold poor flow rate shower in small toilet block ( avoid ) started cooking late tea for my daughter and I, 9-10 pm only to be confronted by an angry chap in Range Rover , stating I was in his neighbours caravan pitch and had to move now !!!
Confused and daughter upset , we left the site , not returning to complete our booked days

From the manager: Hi there,

We are disappointed by your comment and feel it’s important to respond clearly.

Wilsons Treborth Caravan Park is proud to welcome guests from all backgrounds and nationalities — we regularly host visitors from across the UK, all over Europe, and even as far as Australia, as you can see from our reviews. Everyone is treated equally and with respect, regardless of where they’re from.

You were shown several pitch options on arrival and given time to decide. I take responsibility for not following up to confirm your final choice — but equally, you should have come back to us and let us know which pitch number you had selected, as discussed. Unfortunately, not doing so led to confusion and a situation that could have been easily avoided.

We’re a small, family-run park and always try to do our best by every guest. We’re proud of our many 10/10 reviews and long-standing reputation for being welcoming, helpful, and inclusive.

Comments suggesting favouritism or bias are unfair and simply not true. They also risk damaging the hard work we’ve put in to create a park where everyone is welcome.

Kind regards,
Wilsons Treborth Caravan Park

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite (four person)

Liked: Treborth Hall Farm Caravan Site is an excellent site for all! Lovely welcoming. Site is secure! Pitches are big! Facilities are clean. Playground on site which was a big plus! Plug sockets / usb sockets available. There was a fridge freezer although freezer didn’t work it was still colder than being in our cool box so great help for storing food! Location is great, we walked in to Bangor via the beautiful Botanic gardens and then on to the stunning Menai bridge, then the coastal path to Bangor Pier. Fire pits avail to hire although we didn’t because weather wasn’t great. We will be back and would recommend!!

Primitive grass tent campsite (solo)

Liked: 1. Could pick your own pitch (it was fairly quiet when I stayed so there was also plenty of space to park alongside the pitch)
2. Quiet considering how close it is to a main road
3. Toilet and shower facilities excellent
4. Friendly staff patrolling the site/regularly maintaining facilities
5. Secure
6. Value for money
7. Nice walk nearby to the botanical garden, easy access to other attractions in the area

Disliked: 1. Couldn't find a washing up area
2. Check in was confusing - to get in through the gate you need to call a number for the code, but there is no phone signal in this area!
