Lovely, well maintained site
Electric grass pitch (large)
Liked: The site is super clean and toilets/showers are cleaned twice a day. There is a great little room where there’s access to a washing machine, tumble drier, American fridge freezer and also a large chest freezer.
We had a picnic bench near our pitch which was really handy to use.
The site is relatively small and doesn’t feel cramped, we were comfortable with letting our children play without needing to watch them closely, or follow them round.
There was an ice cream van which came on site around 6pm and despite being pricey, it was a nice treat!
We are already planning another trip back!
Disliked: If I was to pick at anything, the ground was soft which cannot be helped, but there were some rocks around our pitch and we bent/snapped a few pegs.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: Warm welcome when we arrived and great views of the surrounding countryside.
Disliked: We were allocated a pitch right next to the toilet block and directly at the side of the rubbish bins which wasn’t very pleasant to look out on or smell every time you opened the door. We didn’t bother to put the awning up for this reason. Can’t understand why we was put on this pitch as the site wasn’t fully booked. Would have asked to be moved but we were only there for 2 nights and didn’t see any of the staff around for the rest of our stay so didn’t bother.

If charging for dogs there needs to be facilities for them.
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: Park location was great to go and visiting nearby places I.e Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, Conwy and Rhyl.
Disliked: Although dogs are welcome there was no area for them to be off the lead to exercise them. There were 2 unused fields that would have been a ideal for this use. Also 2 footpath signs that lead to no where as one field was planted and the other lead to a bridge and a sty that was not accessible. The new shower block is very modern but not practical as there is nowhere to put your toiletries apart from the floor. You also need very long pegs for the awning when staying on the gravel pitch as normal pegs pulled straight out of the ground.
