What customers say

A grand spot, spotless and tranquil, with level pitches & top-notch facilities. Owners are lovely & helpful, shop's a treat, borrow library brilliant. Great for Cardigan Bay. Downsides: no dog walks, no Wi-Fi, some found costs steep.

Liked Absolutely lovely site. Could no fault it at all. The showers, toilets and all areas are immaculately cleaned.
Pitches a great size and the hosts are so friendly and helpful.
We came from Devon and we will certainly come back albeit a long drive .
The electricity
The extra touches of herbs for cooking and games available are great touch.

Fully-serviced grass and gravel pitch

Liked Everything ! What a lovely site quiet and chilled very clean amenities, hot showers, plenty of hot water for washing up, washing machines and tumble driers. Very friendly owners cant do enough for you so helpful. We had a fully serviced pitch with our tent and the electric was so cheap. It's so convenient for travelling just minutes off the main road local to all the beaches such an amazing find will definitely be back next year!

Local attractions

If you want history with a twist, pay a visit to one of the unusual museums in the area. At the Internal Fire museum, less than five minutes away by car, see one of the oldest working diesel engines in the world. Follow the flock to the National Wool Museum and see the story of wool from fleece to fabric or embrace your inner child at the Museum of Childhood, both 20 minutes from Brynawelon. Experience a statelier time and take in the views of the Ceridigion countryside with a trip on one of the steam trains at Gwili Railway, Teifi Valley Railway or the Vale of Rheidol Railway, all within 45 minutes of the site. When the kids get tired of steam trains and toys (how could they, you ask…), bring them to Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park, where they can get up close with friendly farm animals and try to spot dolphins, seals and skylarks in the nature reserve. For an even sweeter experience, buzz on over to the Honey Farm in New Quay – 10 miles from Brynawelon – where you can visit the meadery, see the bees at work and have a seat in the tearoom to taste the end result. Buy honey, mead and beeswax products in the farm shop before you leave.
