What customers say
This quiet, secluded site has lovely estuary and mountain views, a short stroll to the beach. Guests love the friendly owners and spotless loos. A "hidden gem" for "wild camping". Basic facilities noted (no bins/hot water, long grass/molehills sometimes) but feedback is great, with most wanting to come back.

What a hidden gem! Basic but…
Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked What a hidden gem! Basic but as described. Spectacular views and a great way to unwind without the distraction of WiFi and all of life’s noise. Saw some fabulous wild birds and really enjoyed the peaceful countryside. The toilets were superbly clean and access to a sink and clean drinking water was most appreciated. The hosts were exceptionally helpful. Happy to return again without hesitation. If you’re looking for a simple, distraction free set up surrounded by nature then this is a campsite for you. Great value for money.

Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Very peaceful and lovely local walks.
I didn’t use the toilets as I am self sufficient. I did use the toilet emptying and I did fill my onboard water tank.
The owners were amazing as I explained it was my first solo trip.
I will be back.
Thank you

Lovely simple site - would stay again!
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Great simple site with very clean flushing toilets and large washing up sinks. Lovely host who offered me and the kids (2, 5 and 7) sanctuary from the tent when the weather looked bad - in the end we were really lucky and the yellow warning weather held off!
Disliked No sink for face washing or hand washing (although hand gel is provided in toilets).
The washing up area could be improved with a cover/rain shelter.

Simple back to nature camping by the sea
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Peaceful, relaxed, open & spacious site, little stream running through it, and right next to estuary. Lovely views across the valley.
All the birds flying over the site - geese, oystercatchers, red kites
Owners very friendly & helpful - encouraged us to watch the bank holiday fireworks, which were v impressive!
The toilets are very nice & kept v clean. The swallows flitting about overhead were also charming!
Washing up bowls & liquid provided at the sink
You can very easily walk down the bridle path to Ynys Las beach, just over the bridge and walk straight on where road turns sharp left.
It is v simple and exactly as described, (no showers, no bins, no places to charge phones, no wifi, no fridge/freezer or washer/drier facility) but absolutely perfect for people who love a simpler, back to nature camping experience, but with a decent loo!
Disliked Nothing really.
It can be a bit windy there, this is just down to the location itself!
