What customers say
A welcoming spot, handy for the beach & good value. Clean facilities, top staff. Basic but sufficient amenities, with a covered washing-up area & charging point. Train noise is a mixed bag – some hear it, some don't mind. Great for families & dogs.

Liked The location and the owners, we were greeted very friendly and just could find our own spot.
Everything is basic, but well maintained.
Disliked There were only two showers, we did not have to wait long, but there could be a line.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked This has to be the friendliest campsite I have ever stayed at. The guy who runs it is so nice and approachable. It has clean toilets and showers. It even has a charging point for your phones. It's very good value for money and only 5 mins away from the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Well worth a visit!
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Great little campsite, great views, great price, quiet and relaxing site and Martin who manages it was a cheerful, helpful presence. Simple but very clean facilities and plenty of space to pitch up wherever you like. Really enjoyed my few days stay, thankyou. Will definitely be back!
Disliked Nothing! Some who are picky may grumble at the infrequent trains but I never found them a problem and they didn't wake me in the mornings ...it's easy for the mind to block them out!

Will definitely recommend and return ourselves
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Basic, but spotless!
Lovely welcome from gentleman on reception. I personally liked the simplicity of the site, had plenty of room, no squeezing extra tents in to maximise profit, no waiting for shower, no queue for toilets or fresh water.
Disliked My only dislike is of no fault of the owners, but due to our hot summer! The use of open fires and bbqs were understandably not allowed, which was unfortunate as not only did we miss out on s’mores but a midgy deterrent!!!!
