What customers say
This is a friendly, chilled-out campsite with no-frills but tidy facilities. Guests love its prime spot, a short wander to the beach and stunning views. Staff are super welcoming and helpful. The nearby train line's a regular mention, but mostly seen as charming or no biggie. Paid showers and a bit of noise crop up, but it's overwhelmingly positive with heaps of return visitors.

Liked Location, cleanliness, orderliness, friendly,welcoming
and helpful staff, warm shower, soap at sinks. Nightime lighting except per below
Disliked Struggled to see ladies toilet block in dark, needs outside light above doors.
Both normal tap and water heater one in shower block produce very little water. Difficult to clean teeth and not enough water to rinse around sink afterwards to leave clean for next person.

Unpowered concrete slab caravan site
Liked Very down to earth lovely people and a site in 10 minutes walk (probably less) to the beach. Farm style and a bit rustic but exactly how we like it. If you are a light sleeper be aware it is between a road and a Trainline. But this didn't bother us in our camper.
Disliked Nothing really pleasant trip all round and good price, only thing is next time we will preplan and bring some breakfast with us as the local town is at least a 45 minute walk.
