Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked On arrival we were greeted by Lynsey who was very friendly and helpful, oh and the pizzas on arrival were the best we have had, even our son said it was the best pizza he had in a long time. It's a very secure site with CCTV, clean and tidy. Loved hearing the Cockerel, and the chickens were very entertaining and also friendly. Got to say this site captured our hearts and we will definitely be back

Disliked Couldn't stay longer.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Easy to find, following the road signs. Friendly welcome. Stayed on a hard standing with electric hook up. The pitch was near the main road but this didn’t spoil it. Free WiFi. Nice and quiet, later on in the evening with the less road noise. Also great clean facilities. Pizza on a Monday. 😋

Liked Very clean area and the toilet/Shower block is very clean and warm the people, are very friendly and accommodating and helpful overall a great place to stay

Disliked Not the park's fault but the Internet in the area is dismal at best park guests' Wi-Fi is reasonable but I think in high season would be struggling again not the park's fault but in the 21st century Internet access should not be an issue

Liked Friendly and helpful welcome. Location with walks along the river. Dark sky location. Warm toilet block.

Disliked One toilet was out of order, and another had a broken door. Showers could have a flip down seat, or seating at wash hand basin area.

Local attractions

Wander along the River Teviot, go nature spotting, or hire a bike from the Riverside team for Borders days close to the park; much more of the outdoorsy same is at spectacular Kielder Forest over the border in Northumberland 45 minutes' drive south. Scottish Borders town days are plentiful around here too, with Hawick under 10 minutes' drive from the park, Jedburgh 15 and Kelso 20. Half an hour away, Selkirk is where William Wallace was famously declared guardian of Scotland; three miles from there, have an afternoon at Bowhill House for more woodland walks and dramatic antics from its on-site theatre.
