Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Spacious pitch with a great view. Good possibilities for a walk. Lovely town of Longholm close by. Easy reachable with a tow caravan. All the farm animals, especially the free roaming chickens
Disliked Primitive toiletblock with only two (unisex) toilets and one (unisex) shower for the whole of the campsite. Which was not dufficient for a busy weekend as it was when we stayed there.
Very close to a main road, the A7, which has yraffic day and night.

From the manager: Thank you for your review im sorry to read you did not enjoy your stay, all the electric pitches are moving onto the camping field once the electric cable arrives which will move the pitches away from the road. All our adverts state the toilets and shower are unisex and we only have 1 shower and 2 toilets. This is hopefully going to be extended in the future

Liked Beautiful location, lovely short walk alongside river. Good facilities. Main road was behind us but did not disturb us. Really enjoyed our stay. Just a note for those bringing dogs, there are free roaming chickens.

Perfect site for a stopover
Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Great little site and good size pitches. Nice view across the farm and over the hills, and we were entertained by the very friendly chicken climbing into our van. Almost took it with us as it managed to make it into the garage without me looking!
Disliked If you're on the EHU pitches the road can be quite noisy at times. It did get quieter into the evening.

From the manager: Thank you for your great review, yes the chickens can be quite cheeky 😀 the electric pitches are moving onto the camping field once the electric cable arrives which will move the pitches away from the road hopefully we will see you again
Fabulous site, lovely hosts and a pleasure to stay there.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked This site is a credit to the young family that own and run it. great value for money and the pitches are very generous in size. The location and views are spectacular. Having the sheep, goats, pigs and chickens is a bonus. Also you are encouraged to go in with the animals even with a dog ( on a lead!) To walk along the river which is very pretty.
A very no fuss enjoyable site.
