Great first camping trip for a long time and now without our children
Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked It was not overdeveloped so there was a nice sense of being out in the countryside. Our children are all grownup now, and so it was lovely to see and hear young children and toddlers playing on the Jungle Gyms/climbing frames and with all the tricycles /diggers and tractors. It was very peaceful at nighttime and very little light pollution, so the stars looked amazing. In addition, it was interesting to watch the fields being harvested in the distance in the late afternoon. It was great to be allowed to have a charcoal BBQ and firepit, it really made the trip.

Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked It was brilliant, the little ones were happy at the playpark, we could see them from our tent the whole time, joanne was lovely and made herself known once we got settled in and helped us with a few questions we had. Toilets were spotless, not noisy everyone respected each other.
Away from the main town, traffic was minimal, safe for the kids.
Driving out we actually booked a longer stay for 3 weeks time :) was a very good first camping experience

What customers say
A lovely, peaceful spot with a warm welcome, brilliant for families. Stunning views nearby, though the road in is a bit tight and there can be the odd fly or bit of noise.

Liked Peaceful location, long mirror in shower room. Friendly owner checking everyone was okay.
Disliked Joint toilet facilities two seperate portocabins would be better, with electric plug for hairdryers.

Overall, a very relaxing few days here and that's what we sought.
Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked This is a well-run site in a serene countryside setting with lovely views, level pitches and spotless shower/toilet facilities.
Plenty of space for tents etc.
The walk into Armagh City at this time of year was lovely. (A leisurely 30-40 minutes).
Joanne's meet and greet is a nice touch.
I didn't take any photos as there's enough online.
For history buffs, this site is literally a stones throw to the site of The Battle of the Yellow Ford.
Disliked There's nothing to dislike here. I've read other comments about the approach road but it's very manageable with periodic lay-bys for pulling in, if needed. I was travelling in a 5 berth Ducato Motorhome.
